Its been a month since he passed away and I still look for him. Thank you TT members. Its the support that you have provided for my family that makes us strong. I know he is in a better place. Again, thank you.

Thumbs up Re: Killed a Corvette Z06

My bro has an 02 Zo6 with headers exuhast hiflow cats which are wide open and some crazy intake, dyno tuned and tested at 378 hp at the rear wheels. not sure what that would be at the crank. 12.4 is what motortrend and gm say it runs. I have seen stock ones run 11.9 and my brothers best is 11.3. What a fun car, to bad the build quality is no better than a coblat. At 11000 miles he is on his 4th set of rear tires and 3rd set of fronts so it is driven like it should be. as the photo shows.

Re: Killed a Corvette Z06

Good kill, I was deffinatly about to call shinanigans until I seen you was on a bike. hehe, better watch out for them muscle cars though, especially on a 600cc bike. When i was rocking the Mustang I used to rape the 600cc guys and they never even knew it was coming. a shot of nitrous and the right supporting mods will catch ya quick! the trick is with the car to get the hit and be in at least 3rd gear by the time the bike is on the throttle, if you get that far by tht etime 130 rolls around there is no chance for the 600cc to pull back from the slow start. my little 03 Mustang with a 125 direct port nitrous hit and big old fat sticky mickey thompsons would roll out!

I like the C5 vetees the best,. Especially the Z06 whihc has the FRC (Fixed Roof Coupe) cause it actually has a truck lid instead of a big arse hactback glass. They just look great IMHO.

The C6 Vette's are mean as hell and the Z06 is arguably one of the fastest production consumer car on the market. I think tests proved it out perform even some of the high end consumer cars like Ferrari's and the Saleen S7. With 505Hp and a 6 speed tranny with a red line of liek 7K that car has some long legs and can sure gallop.
