finally got to race

Alright my buddy has a stock 07 tundra crew max 4x4. I have a 08 titan crew cab 4x4 with nismo intake and banks exhaust. He wanted to race to see how close the trucks are. On the first race i passes him by over a truck length and kept the lead and had to slow down because we ran out of road. Raced until 80 mph or so. He was catching up at the end though. Second race was the same except I only pulled about a hood on him. I know if we would of raced further he would of passed me but I was impressed with my titan.

Race #2
I pulled up at a stop light and a crew cab dodge pulled up on the side of me. It didnt have the hemi badge so I am guessing it was the other V8 they use. I was minding my own buisness but i like racing. Well I took off normal but the kid in the dodge stompt it. So I had to show him what the titan had so I gave it to him. I smoked him bad. After I proved my point and stopped speeding he wanted to act bad and fly past me. The speed limit was 35mph and where he flew past me was the front of the police station so I wasnt going to make him cry again. I just wanted to share me murdering with yall.

I noticed the Ram guys are notorious for doing the Honda Civic flybys after getting spanked. I used to embarrass quite a few of those supposedly highly modded civics when they would want to race on wet roads in my Subuaru. They would just spin tires and I was already 5-6 car lengths before they even took off. It was especially funny on uphills..

Ahhh.. the joy's of owning an AWD vehicle. Gotta love it..

yeah i was wondering too. Considering you are both pretty much stock, if it was the 4.7 you would have beat him by alot more. If it was the 5.7 it wouldnt have been as close. Then again, those crewmax's are heavy, but a stock one can still run a 14.7-14.8 quarter mile stock.

tundra had a 5.7 and it is heavy if it would of been a single cab or extra cab i think he would of beat me but I pulled him. Now if we would of ran another 100 feet he would of passed me but i was leading until we ran out of road. Prob 1/8 a mile or so.
