bagged me a hemi!!

couple days back was coming home from work. Some young kid in a ram hemi kept tail gating and swerving in and out of traffic trying to race. i ignored it cuz i dont wanna take a chance w/ street racing in a busy Highway.

i get off my exit and he follows shortly. i pull up to the stop light and he rolls his window down and asks if i wanted to race. Sounded like a challenge that i cant back down from. we drove down a few blocks to a dead end street which has houses under construction figured it would be safe enough.

first run i ended up beating him by 2 lenghts. second run was a rolling start and approx by 3-4 lenghts by the time i shut down. my truck has a banks CB and tahts about it.

his truck had a CAI and a full exhuast. in the end he was cool enough to wave as i drove off.

I like a good honest racer like that. When you stomp his *** he waves and says thanks for the race. None of this 'let's fight cuz my truck is slower and ****ty' stuff

Thats good to know, a buddy of mine will be getting his ram the same time I get my Titan and hes been talking **** since day one, maybe a race will shut him up, but hey watchout for people like that who knows what else he had planned to do with you/your truck in a secluded construction zone.

thanks, ya he was pretty cool about it. Most people usually just roll the window up and drive off or do what a 89 5.0 mustang did....give me the finger and took off.

I wish there were more racers like that. Back when I was 18 years old, I had a 4.3L V6 S10 with a few mods. A guy with a V6 Camaro wanted to race and was sure he would win. 1st race he spun off the line and I put bus lenghts on him. He was pissed and said the only reason I won was because he spun so I offered to go again. 2nd race he launch perfectly and I still beat him by 1.5 car lenghts. I start slowing down and he does a ricer fly by then slams on the brakes, turns his car to block the road. I stood on the brake pedal in order not to T-Bone him and when I stopped I see him running up to my truck in a fit of rage. I could tell he wanted to fight and before I could get out of my truck he punched me. As I'm trying to shake of the punch I hear something hit my truck and look up to find the guy slammed down against my hood being handcuffed. A cop was pulling out from a side road and saw him punch me.

This dude was older than me and a good bit bigger than me but wasn't man enough to let me get out my truck to defend myself.

I got 2 Kills and a black eye out the deal, he lost and went to jail.

I saw something like that happen a couple months back, but they werent racing, it was road rage. Guy got out and punched the other drivers window and broke it, a cop saw the whole thing and ran out and slammed this dude on the ground. crazy stuff but very entertaining for me!
