Do ppl still try to race your Titan?

I have had mine for a while now, and I had a few ppl try to race me early on, but now not so much. Actually now, not at all.

I dont know if its people not wanting to use the gas, or if they just know what they are capable of now. I see a lot of Titans in town, so I know there has to be more than me to run against. Still, no one ever tries anymore...

I hardly ever get formidable opponents... no Dodges... modded trucks.. nothing... The only ones who ever even try are the idjit ricers and the Ford Rangers/S10 Blazer crowd... Oh, and I scared the hell out of a Cobalt SS yesterday. Nismo freaked him out when I blasted it!

That was pretty funny.....

I haven't got the first challenge yet in my Titan......I get more in the Lightning (of course) but I guess they view the Titan as a 4x4 work truck.

You raced a Cobalt SS or just messed with him? Those dudes are pretty quick. Nothing to sneeze at. Details?

I try to give whoever is willing the run of their life in my Titan. That's what i bought it for.....not towing,hunting,fishing. I fell in love with the VK56 the first time one came screaming past me in my Blazer. I knew right then i had to have one.

just messed with him... He was in front of me at a light... I laid back when he took off.. Floored it! Truck roared!

He looked in his mirror, heard me coming and saw me closing fast, and hit it! I was laughing so hard.... I tell ya, from outside the truck, that Nismo is LOUD!!! Especially at certain RPM's where it just "barks" out a certain note....

Yeah.. she shuts me down sometimes before I even get the chance... She sees my hand heading over to the center console to hit the VDC button and ......

Same here, couple years ago was easy to find a race, now only race I get is family or friends.

Last weekend I was driving around a friends 05 Vette. It has Cam, head work, headers, exhaust, tune. Real easy to find a race in that thing. Everyone either tries to race you.

Its funny, i was in kingman arizona last week visiting some family and when my cousin saw my truck, he didnt know anything about it. All there is out there is the big 3. But he did mention how fast the titans where and how they pretty much own everyone else.

So im sure words out by now that titans arent f150 slugs. I only saw one other tundra out there and it was a V6.

I did get 2 hemi kills though, one ram hemi sport and a charger R/T. Its funny seeing a guy in a charger with a hemi do a ricer fly by after he lost.

I have been the same way lately. No races, and don't know why. I just got my new cam installed and been looking for a race. It seems that everything is either going the other way or just missed someone turning. I'd problibly lose off the line though, because I can't any traction thru second gear. It really does suck guys not having any traction. To much power down low now. It's got to be a slump for you Spiritone. We all have them from time to time.
I've seen a couple of Nismo's around here. Is there any difference in the two trucks?
And yes, I do believe that people are finally realizing how much power you guys have. Plus not to mention how much gas is costing all of us!! BTW, nice kill on the R/T. Those are pretty quick.

thanks man, been lookin for an SS or vmax to run, but there isnt too many around here. Its funny, when ever i see anyone in an SS its usually and older guy with no intrest in running. On the SS forum, some of those guys say the exact same thing about tundras.

last run in with an SS got me pulled over, but no ticket thankfully. i think he was stock because by 40 i had him by almost 2 lengths.
