Re: Since i know you guys will appreciate this...

I don't have a dog in this hunt, couldn't care less what goes faster than what, but I did click on the link on the first page that showed Blown330's Google results page.

Did anybody else go to the very last page of those Google links just to see what was there? I did.....

Re: Since i know you guys will appreciate this...

I had an 05 Roush F150. it was a fun truck... it was too heavy and felt cumbersome. It felt faster than the Titan for sure, but it was clumbsy feeling and the brakes were nothing fancy. I'd not waste my money on another and would rather the Lightning if I had to do it again.
Unfortunately, I got to give her my paid for 38,000 dollar truck in the divorce, along with the house. Oh well.

Now, if I got to start with 38,000 dollars again... how fast could I make a Titan? hmmmm. Unfortunately, that chance wont come for a long time again.

AMEN TO THAT. my g/f has no idea about the intake or the headers, kinda hard to lie about the exhaust.

Re: Since i know you guys will appreciate this...

I am more of a lurker, not so much of a poster, and I read all 5 pages of this 'discussion', and any point that blown330 may have had, were washed away when I clicked on the rate my body link, and saw that picture. He looks like the douchebag in an itty bitty little sentra, with the fart rocket on the back, that I was about to pass in my Titan, and when he saw me, he sped up enough to block me. a few seconds later, the car in front of me turned and that little guy couldnt keep up anymore, and wouldnt even pull up next to me at any of the next three lights!

In his defense, though, the comment as to what he would do if he had a million dollars was from the movie Office Space. BUT he definitely looks as though he would definitely try to accomplish that!

ya all i need right now is headers and some high-flow cats, thats it....but in order for me to get my tuning software i told her that i wouldnt buy anything else for a while...therefore i'm screwed, and headers are so expensive that i dont know how i would hide...plus my truck would be a lot louder....i convinced her to be "ok" with me getting 2 flip down screens in my sun-visors just so she has something to do at the track while we are waiting to race

Re: Since i know you guys will appreciate this...

It's a nice looking truck, but for it's weight and power it has it should be faster than that, something just doesn't seem right. Even the old HD SC F-150's were low 14 second trucks. For $55k it should have EXACTLY what's under the Shelby GT500's hood, and a better tranny.
