Titian vs. Xrunner

not much of a race but the guy seemed to like my rear bumper.

Pulled to the light, this really "to cool for school" guy pulled up and I knew he wanted some.. Anyway it was a newer truck with v8 badging and a louder than stock muffler.. I was game.. Light goes green I spin a lil and he pulls, I'm at the top of1st and I reeled him back in, I shifted to 2nd and started to "walk the dog", shifted into third and I had him.. game over but Ill give him this, he never gave up.. I slowed down he caught up and I nailed it again... well he never saw me in his rear veiw mirror.. but saw him..

Trucks are nice but I think the v8 is a lil over rated..

Oh come on now, give the V8 a break, it has to carry all of that weight.

I think one guy has a Taco X-runner and the other has a S/C'ed crew cab 4x4 Taco. I think they're friends and belong to the same club.

Re: Titian vs. Xrunner

Hey dude w/ the x-runner, tow a 6000 lbs load and I want to see how fast you burn up your clutch in Los Angeles traffic. Hey dude w/ the x-runner, go over a speed bump without ricer cutting it. Hey dude w/ the x-runner, go buy a f%*@# sports car if all you are going to do is bash on V8's that were not meant for racing and here you are with a truck thats lowered and is a staight up oxymoron to what a truck should do. Go screw yourself and race a real sports car....then see how overrated your stupid x-runner truck wannab car is.

Re: Titian vs. Xrunner

Why SoCal, is the Tundra supposed to be fast or something? Hehe

Seriously though, are the S/C X-Runners 6 sec. flat 0-60'ers? Remember reading that somewhere. Wife's co-worker just got one, dunno if it's the S/C version, thier pretty nice looking trucks. I would say a 6 sec flat 0-60 is pretty decent for them if thats what they run.

Not trying to get off topic, but on my way to north carolina a week ago I saw a silver ram srt10 flipped over on the side of the road next to a mustang looked pretty bad, maybe if your part of an srt forum and theres someone missing fro m florida its probably them.....

Re: Titian vs. Xrunner

Hey x runner owner wanna level the playing field. I figure this would be close to your weight to hp ratio 330hp/2800lbs to my 900hp plus/6000lbs

She is my best friends dads truck. 1948 Chevrolet and i lied she has around 1800 hp there is over $300k invested and don't come out unless there is money involved and i mean big money. Usually at a car show where the minimum is $5000 best of show or unless someone talk $hit about her
