Anything can be made fast with enough boost or nitrous..and money to replace broken parts in the process until you get it dialed in. But I wouldn't call these "REAL" civics.

I have a friend with a 1970's ford pick-up...and it will make a lot of cars look real silly. Or has he likes to say, "it eats chevies and ****s mopars". Twin turbo big block. Nuff said.

Sounds like you need a Geo metro then?

No.....the Hondas I speak of are all street legal. Just not in Cali. Some of them are even ALL MOTOR.

No, his name is Earl Schexnayder and he lives in Louisiana. Truck previously was procharged and ran 9.10's - 9.20's. Now being converted to twin turbo.

Here's a couple pics of the truck:

Re: Murdered a Civic

Well the Civic instigated the race, so nice kill. I see allot of wanna-be fast ricers in the daily commutes, then every friday and saturday night all the fast ones get together and do outlaws. Last time I checked it out almost every Civic was turboed and was no joke.

Here's the thing around here. Austin is a high tech community. Lots of ricers. Lots of money. You don't have any idea what that Civic next to you is running.

Re: Murdered a Civic

Yeah more often than not it is just a fart can.
It's fun to get out and ride around to see what comes out to play on the weekends. Thing about some of these Honda's, Acura's, etc. is that you don't expect them to be running a S/C or a turbo like if you pull up on a WRX or EVO. I love the sleeper POS looking Civics that "fart" and make you say DAAYUMM!!!!!

All i have is a little S2K thats N/A, but it puts down just a hair shy of a bone stock Titan on the dyno and weighs half as much. It's a fun car.

I won't say nice kill on a 1.6 DX with a fart can, cause it's just not. I doubt anyone would get on here and post an azz whoopin by a 4cyl anyway.

Re: Murdered a Civic

Threads like this just make me laugh. If you beat a Honda with a muffler and nothing else, then you make fun of them. If you get beat by a modded car, then it is because anyone can make something fast if you dump enough money in it. Everyone on here does realize that this is a forum for a big heavy pick up, correct? Titan's may be fast for a pick up, but not in respect to many vehicles out there. They are only fast if modded. Those that do, then fit into the same category as a modded Honda.

I had a modded Prelude. It wasn't the fastest thing out, but I would have put almost, if not everyone's Titan on here to shame. I would have been the one laughing if someone in a Titan pulled up and wanted to race.

I am not bashing on Titan's. I like my Titan. I just get tired of hearing that if someone doesn't have or think like you, they are wrong or stupid.

I think ur missing the point most are making. Its not so much the car but its all these guys who drive them. Out here by me its like every single person thinks they have a race car, weather it be a ferrari, civic , dodge, or the beloved geo metro lol. Its the mentality of these people that make it hilarious. These are the same people who try and race motorcycles on the streets thinking they have somthing to prove. Somtimes they need to be told where they are on the food chain, and nobody here believes our titans are at the top. unless your talking abput the "bad-***" foodchain because that we are lol

Re: Murdered a Civic

You guys need to come down here, I will show you some Civics to play with.

More than likely if some kid in a Civic is driving like a fool trying to race everyone, its slow - don't waste your time.

A CRX with a K motor (out of an RSX) and basic bolt-ons runs 12s easily, imagine with boost or nitrous.
