kind of a kill..think i got lucky

well i raced some sort of harley bike....dont know what kind cause it was at night, but it sounded good....... anyway, i was turning right onto a fairly empty road that had a stoplight....the light for the people to go was about to turn green for the other people so i turned right fast and accelerated quick ( i actually floored it, cause the road was empty)....well i looked in my rearview and saw a single headlight trying to keep pace with me....i slowed down cause i was getting to the part of the road where cops sit...he came up a little in front of me and revved a few times....well i flew around a car so that he knew i was game (i always am for a race).....anyway i came around the car to pull up next to him, but i florred it before i got to him (he was just waiting for me to get next to him to race)...by the time i got beside him i had been on the gas for about 3 seconds...well he gunned his bike right when my front bumper got to him (we were going about 60ish)...i pulled until he was at my rear bumper, then he stayed at my rear bumper till about 95-100 where we let off.....i was excited that i gave a bike a hard time, he actually couldnt pull on me.....it was probably a slow a** harley, but it still felt good!!!.

If it was a harley, dont be impressed. Its the bike that never evolved.

Ofivecc - that's too funny! A Harley couldn't pass me and the family leaving the Hoover dam.... I just kept mashing the pedal and had it floored by about 35 mph - my daughter was waving "bye-bye" out the back window LOL

Re: kind of a kill..think i got lucky

most harleys are extremely slow on a roll but can jump out of the hole pretty quick. but don't mess around with their v-rod though, that thing is a monster! even alot of the jap bikes that aren't the real big bores or crotch rockets aren't that fast off of a roll. it is still cool beating one though because in most peoples minds a bike should be much faster than a car or especially a truck! leaves them with their jaw just kind of hanging there. HAHA
