Stock 2008 Titan vs modded F150

Ok, I was down in Panama City on back beach, cruising along from a stop light at 40. An F150 with an exhaust that sounded pretty awesome pulls up to me when I am at 40mph, and gives me the look and revs his little dinky triton v8. I nod, his passenger counts down on fingers, and we're off from 40. I down shifted to 3rd and WOT hit like a friggin hammer, and just left him in the dust. Raced him from a stop but had to slam on the brakes cus a cop pulled out ahead of us. I nearly ran off the road laughing cus he slammed on the brakes and did a U-Turn.

Re: Stock 2008 Titan vs modded F150

That makes 5 F150's, 3 dodge 1500's, and a silverado that ive beaten with my titan. Most of them down in Panama City lol. This doesnt really count as a kill but I destroyed my dad in his crown vic and in my mom's expedition on several occasions. I was surprised to beat the crown vic. Transmission on it is absolutely terrible though.

Re: Stock 2008 Titan vs modded F150

I say dinky because without some work they are just work trucks. Of course I am referring to the older 5.4's. Haven't driven a new one myself.

Re: Stock 2008 Titan vs modded F150

I wish I could race my friend's F250 Diesel. He's modded it and will only race me if we race for pinks, which I won't do. O well. His truck is fast as hell.

Re: Stock 2008 Titan vs modded F150

I used to have a 2006 F150 and it was a complete dog. Of coarse the crew cab 4X4 with the 6.5ft bed didn't help matters. Then to top it off the transmission was horrible. It probably did 0-60 in about 10-11 secs. The only thing I beat in that truck was a Mitsubishi Montero. I lemon lawed that truck due to transmission issues.

Now I have a 2008.5 Titan CC 4X4 LE. This SOB hauls *** compared to any Ford I've driven. Hell, I think this Titan is faster than the 96 Explorer I used to have with the 5.0L V8.

So far I've raced the following with my 100% stock Titan.
1. Dodge with the Hemi (won) It was over when the Titan shifted to 3rd.
2. Cadillac DTS (lost) Gave him a damn good run to 80 though.
3. Some little Nissan car (draw) Couldn't quite pull on him. Road wasn't really good for racing though.
4. Honda Civic on HWY (won)
5. Dodge Dakota (won)
7. Honda Civic - Wanted to race but I didn't, my turn was coming up.
8. Nissan Pathfinder (won) Wasn't the new one.
9. Nissan Titan Pre 07 (won) Love the extra HP on the 07s and up.

No other trucks or SUVs have tried to race my Titan. Maybe all you 04 and up owners have shown them who's boss.

You must not have been trying to hard!!! When I'm doing 40MPH and hit it my truck downshifts to 2nd not 3rd. With BT I need to be doing 60 plus to get it to only downshift to 3rd.

Nice kill anyway.
