Raced a (2004-06) 1500 and (2004-2006) 2500 (diesel) Silverados
Earlier tonight i went to good old Walmart, they of course have the cheapest ammo on a Sunday night. There was a young couple sitting in their truck (2004-2006) diesel duramax Silverado in the parking lot, they left a few moments before i left the parking lot, i heard his turbo spool rather loud (sounded pretty bad as$), as i turned on the street a (2004-06 1/2 ton Silverado xtra cab sped away on the far lane with his distinct flowmaster exhaust, up ahead to my surprise the diesel truck was still sitting there waiting on the red light, i was on the slow lane, diesel in the middle, and the gas silverado far lane, "This street here is pretty big 3 lanes on both sides, looks like a freeway top speed is 50mph" it was pretty lonely. I looked to my left and i have to say he was messing with something like a programmer or an electronic device with a faint blue light, maybe an Edge programmer. The other truck creeped forward as in saying im ready, i gazed at the red light and bam i stomped on the gas with tires squealing on the green light, the diesel was right beside me up to about 50 when i started to pull away up to 70, he was about 1 truck behind me, the other about 2.5 trucks behind, the guy in the diesel was a youngster alright he wanted some more, so on the next light we went again same story for all 3 of us. I called it a night i cant be doing these things but it sure is fun beating up on 2 bowties at the same time. The guy in the diesel gave me a thumbs up, i also noticed when i turned to my exit he stomped on it and a whole lot of black smoke came from his tailpipe, he had to be tuned. Long story I know, it was fun, wish i would have recorded it.

Nice kills bro! Those duramax's are fairly quick too so congrats!!! As far as the gas silverado, I like chevy's an all, but the only good gas engine for the silverados is their 6.0's.

With those mods, you were in front of a tuned diesel? Stock diesels are tough, not to mention one that has even a mild tune.
