well i know a stock titan with exaust cant beat a trailblazer ss...and its a 6.0
I dont know what year you guys are talking about, but im talking about an 06 2500HD with the Vortech 6000. The trail blazer SS is a tuned 6.0 with performance parts and probably a better tranny combo.

IDk about that. I've seen quite a few Trailblazer SS in the 13's and one in the 12s. I'm not sure what mods the one in the 12s had but the ones in the 13s didn't sound like they had that many mods. I think they're mid to low 14s stock. there are always a few at the track and I can ask though
and nice kill Firelife. The new Rams are over rated. I saw a quad cab one with an exhaust running 15.4s all day. Now he probably wonders why dodge lied to him and the Titan was so much faster lol

Im saying the 6.0 in the trail blazer is a tuned/factory modded version of the Silverados 6.0

I didn't disagree with you. And the TB SS has and ls2 while the silverado is an iron block Ly6. They are similar but there are quite a few differences leading to the SS being a faster more performance oriented truck

I didnt really know the difference, I just knew it wasnt the same exact thing. Thanks for telling me the Blazer has an LS2, I never knew that

No way a stock titan with exhaust is gonna be any where close to a stock TBSS. They're lighter, and putting out way more hp/tq along with being AWD. I see them running 8.9's stock at irwindale.
Firelife, your getting faster man, grats. I might want a crack at ya next time. I think it'll be a good run once i get my tuner back. I hit a few 9.0's two weeks ago at irwindale (ask Jason about it lol) with just intake and exhaust. Im sure that tuner will get me to somewhere around where your at.

Nice kill Firelife, I'm actually suprised you didn't beat him by more with your mods but sounds like you guys didn't run um out too far. Good kill though, now what do they have to say about the slow Nissan? lol
Dunno why anyone would think a Titan with just exhaust can beat a TBSS, they run very low 14's stock and I've heard of some breaking into the 13.9's stock with a good launch. Sure the guy could be sleeping at the light or maybe fry the tires off, but say it's a AWD version, your gonna get spanked like you were standing still. Any numbnuts with a half a brain could peddle a launch to beat an exhaust equiped Titan with a TBSS so please enlighten us on your logic, I'm baffled.

I said the Silverado 6.0 was slow, I never once mentioned the TBSS until he did. And all I said about it was that it wasnt the same 6.0 as the Silverado

Um I wasn't talking to you, I assumed we were all refering to Big Rob in general which sufficed enough for me to not have to quote him...........

they are extremely detuned. an intake/exhaust/tune really wakes them up. probably more so than either of our trucks.
