Re: Here is th 2020 Titan

from the images it looks like Nissan will be following Toyota by adding advanced driver technology, such as "Propilot assist" and others related to lane keep assist, automatic highbeams. Overall at least Nissan seems to be keeping things competitive with updates every other year or so, which is a good idea.

Re: Here is th 2020 Titan

I see thereís no reason for me to trade up for this. We have that lane assist crap in our Rogue and it has to be turned of every time itís driven as many owners are having issues with it like applying the brakes for zero reason. They can keep all this nanny trash, I donít want it.

Same here. As a matter of fact I hate the Intelligent Cruise Controll too! Itís so sedate that if youíre in the left lane in traffic, it responds so slowly to the vehicle in front speeding up, people continually cut you off and you never go anywhere. It feels like the car is either on the gas or the brakes...going downhill and you manage 1 mph over the set speed and you feel the car slowing down with braking force, it never seems to just coast down slowly. And I canít find a way to disable the intelligent CC and just have regular CC.

I prefer the more ďantiquatedĒ CC in my truck.

Nothing here makes me think I need to trade up either. Now, if they offer a Sunroof, I might consider it in a couple years but not if I have to have nanny controls in top spec trim.

I agree with this, except I do like the bigger screens and Apple car play for my aging eyes. Not sure why they didnít include this tech out the gate!

I prefer not using remote start or drive-thrus, both hurt your MPG's a lot & you shouldn't let your vehicle idle more that a minute or so especially unattended.

Yeah, wouldíve liked to have ACP/AA and a larger screen. If they offer a sunroof, Iíll be in.

Re: Here is th 2020 Titan

I wonder how much impact these "updates" will have on the price competitiveness of the Titan? I was in the market for a midsize truck (GMC Canyon) when I found out about the incentives being offered by Nissan. I realized that I could get a full size truck for around the same price as the Canyon. When I went in to the Nissan dealer for the test drive, on the spot they offered me another 3k off. It was too good of a deal to pass up. I ended up adding leather, heated seats, the SL Infotainment/Navigation and a few other goodies and was still well under 30k. If 2020 Nissan has the updates in the link and is offered 4 - 6k below the competition (before you make your deal) I bet you'd see a lot more interest in the Titan across the board. If not I fear it will be a hard sell. Even a $1500 lower difference isn't going to draw people away from the Big 3 IMHO.

Agree, it's the same in Toyota Tundra 2018+ Ö thankfully there is a switch to turn it off. Makes vehicle more dangerous imo

Not very hopeful that the new screen will be that much better than what's in there now, probably only be bigger.

Re: Here is th 2020 Titan

I would like to see them shorten up the nose "overhang" a bit if that is at all possible with the current frame. In my opinion the Titan looks the best head on but in some side shots the nose looks a bit long compared to especially the first generation.

Possibly adding a readout of what gear the transmission is in, instead of just D. That would be nice

Re: Here is th 2020 Titan

I still see a column shifter. That needs to go and they need to bring back the floor shifter like the 1st generation Titan. Why they went backwards is beyond me.
