When did your Titan die? Anyone in the 200,000 mile club?

With the new job I am doing about 25k in miles each year.
Truck currently has 130,000 (its a 2005) and not sure if I should be looking into a new truck.
Don't really want to buy unless I have too and hoping I can make it to 200,000+ without major issues.
Anyone get to the 200,000 mile marker yet with their Titan?

Worked on a pest control truck back in 2012, it was an 04 Titan SE with 380,000 miles. Still ran great and drove perfect. Been a while since ive seen it, most likely over 400,000 by now.

Lots of people on here. This comes up about every other month or so. If you're worried, drive it until it breaks down, then buy something new if you don't want to fix it. Few people on here have had any engine or transmission trouble.

Yeah, i rarely hear of actual Motor/Transmission problems (other than ones that neglect maintenance, or are really abusing their truck on/off road and on the track)

Thats good news.
Mostly doing highway miles which should hopefully help it last.
Will search the board for the other threads so its a frequent question.

130k in, I had to rebuild my trans, now at 145, I'm having to replace the ECU. Aside from that, it's been a god truck.

Is that supposed to be a good thing? My local dealer does lousy work and has a main focus of trying to up-sell and rip its customers off recommending things they dont need.

one example, took truck in around 30K miles for some recall/warranty work and they tried to force a fuel injector cleaning on me (obviously not needed and greatly overpriced) and then had the audacity to ask me to sign paperwork saying I "denied recommended maintenance" in a last ditch effort to make me feel like i was doing something wrong and would pay for it down the road.
Not to mention they struggled to repair the most basic items, such as telling me after waiting for two hours that they couldnt find my windshield washer reservoir fluid leak because it was raining out and the truck was wet underneath. What? I just told you what was wrong with it, and you cant wipe it off with some rags, fill it up, and verify its cracked? Anybody with an inkling of mechanical ability or common sense can do that.

But i suppose not all dealers service departments are this bad, but they are trying to make more profits on that end of the business compared to the sales end....beware

I have a 2014 Titan P4X that I drive from NC to DC on a regular basis and im up to over 75,000 miles already so i'm well on my way and have seen no change in the way it drives except I think I need new rotors.

Tri-Fold bed cover, LED Fogs, Tails and interior lights, Rough country 6" lift with custom tires & rims and Bug guard with more mods to come.

My 06 is right about 86k, and I plan on running her until she dies, hopefully a long time from now. Besides, I'm to busy fixing everything else that goes wrong with these trucks to have any time to worry about the motor
