Nothing on the engine, I had the rear end lock up and costed me 2700 to replace it, but that’s the only thing. The rear seals leak in the early year titans. Since it has been replaced though I haven’t had a leak since.

Cityman2 is it lifted? What size tires and wheels do you have on it? rmccarley you MPG's are really high for a 1st Gen especially considering it had 500k miles on it. But I wasn't going to say anything.

2006 KC Majestic Blue Frontier, Nismo 4x4, V-6 4.0, 6Spd, bought new, 147K mi "Sold"

I prefer not using remote start or drive-thrus, both hurt your MPG's a lot & you shouldn't let your vehicle idle more that a minute or so especially unattended.
Remember oil isn't a renewable energy source. One day it will all be gone?

Re: Who Has The Titan With The Highest Mileage?

My first three 1st gen SE’s did 18-19 highway and 14-15 city. My current 2012 an SL gets 16-17 highway and 13-14 city I blame the 20inch tires

Not lifted. Everything is stock. Standard hiway radial tires. My truck has 122,000 miles not 500k

Check your exhaust manifolds, a crack can cause the truck to run rich.

I haven't seen it but i know it has a leak because i can hear it if i have my window down and lay on the gas. It's been that way since i bought it but didn't know it would effect mileage. The sound didn't bother me and it hasn't gotten worse. Is there a fix other than replacement? How much are they? How tough a job is it to replace?

Sorry if this thread veered away from most mileage. Ifsomeone can point me in the right direction about manifold recommendations i'd appreciate it. Should i look at performance headers that I'm seeing for around $200? What would increase the MPG the most?

Who Has The Titan With The Highest Mileage?

JBA headers. Around $400. Do you have emission inspection where you live is a concern, if you can bother replacing the cats you remove when installing long tubes. Nothing is going to improve your economy. Power, yes. Economy, no.

JBA shorties are CA legal and what I have been using for over 150,000 miles.
