Fuse access

My trailer running lights are not working, I have brake and turn signals. I found were the F4 fuse is located under the hood, however the access is terrible in my 2012 Titan, I can’t squeeze anything down there to pull the fuse. Is there a way to easily mobilize that fuse panel or how have any of you found a way to get to it?

Re: Fuse access

Update for anyone wondering. I eventually found that the rear most fuse panel that is under the hood has tabs on each side near the top of the panel. When depressed this will allow the panel to slide up and out of place and provide access to the lower most fuses.

Re: Fuse access

On the same subject, my F4 blows from time to time. (maybe once a year) Usually I'll pull my camper, with the 7-pin, and occasionally a light trailer with a 7 to 4 pin adapter. The little trailers seem to do it more often. Do any of you share my suspicion that 10 amps might be a little too small? I'm tempted to put a 15 amp in there. I've fully taken apart the 7-pin, there is nothing wrong there.

Re: Fuse access

I haven’t had a problem until now, I was using a rented utility trailer with my 4 pin adapter. It blew the fuse 3 times and I just chalked it up to bad wiring on the trailer. I only tried the 10 amp though.
