Water in oil. Help

I have no water in my oil pan but when I open the oil fill lid on top of my engine there is alot of tan colored sludge all over the underneath of the cap and in the tube the cap screws on to.Is it possible for water to get in there without being in oil pan.
I hear anything from blown head gasket to cracked head or block. Please help with any info.
Thanks

It’s condensation mayo built up. The engine is not getting hot enough due to short, stop and go driving etc.

I should have told you that first I didn't have enough radiator fluid in my truck and last winter the freeze plugs popped
Out.I put them back in and poured K&W Block sealer in radiator. It seemed to do better but I have alot of smoke in start up and sometimes while I'm going down the road.

Head gasket. Driving it more will make it worse.

Re: Water in oil. Help

I have not changed one on a Titan, but my dad and I tried on a 2002 Xterra. Typically it's very difficult, and the alternative is replacing the engine. We ended up replacing the engine after it failed again.
