2019 pricing and leftover 2018 stock

anyone looking to buy or has bought a '19? Trying to get a good bead on a price. I am currently looking for a pro-4x. there is a leftover 2018 at a dealership not too far away and i test drove a 2019 at another dealership on sunday.

2018 is $41k
2019 is $47k

Different headunit and the fender sound system between the two. most everything else is the same i believe. Im hoping to get the dealer down to $45k for the '19 and just go with that but curious to see what everyone else thinks or is at.

Re: 2019 pricing and leftover 2018 stock

If you trade often, I doubt much difference after 2-3 years. If plan on keeping I would save the 4-6k and buy '18. I haven't heard Fender system but I think RF system is fine, although not high on my priority list.

'17 CC P4X

Re: 2019 pricing and leftover 2018 stock

Android Auto/Apple CarPlay is worth it to me for the 2019 if you're going to keep it. That should be standard in all radios by now, but Nissan's entertainment systems are about 4 years behind the other brands.

I paid $37k for a fully loaded Pro-4X back in late October but that is when they had several on the lot to choose from. Now, you're lucky to find a 2018 P4X, it's mostly leftover base model S and SV's. I haven't heard the Fender system but I think the Rockford system is fine and wouldn't pay $6k for a different headunit. Obviously, the big difference is Apple CarPlay which I do wish I had but I can play Spotify and anything else on my iPhone fine through the radio and it shows artist and song data on the screen and I can use the steering wheel controls to change tracks so it's not like it doesn't work, it just doesn't have the iPhone-like tiles on the screen and you can't use Waze on the Nav screen. Definitely not worth $6k to me.

Not just Nissan, many Toyota models either donít have Car-Play/Android-Auto or are just getting it.
Iím guessing itís either a licensing issue (legal), or it took the Japanese auto manufacturers a while to figure out how important it is in the US market.

Re: 2019 pricing and leftover 2018 stock

I'm scouring the 2018 leftovers around me in the midwest and I'm seeing between 14-16k off MSRP for SL, PE and 10-12k off for P4X.

I know I'm on a Titan forum but I wanted to solicit advice. The SL is ranked higher in terms of $$ than the P4X but it seems like the P4X is appreciated more on here? Why? I really like the midnight but there aren't any around me, is it easy to find the black emblems/grill replacement?

Am I crazy to tempt fate when there appears to be a high incident of shake in these? I'll test drive the vehicle but some owners claim it didn't show up until 500+ miles out the door.

I can't speak for what's available, but my local dealership was advertising $25k off sticker on 2018 Titans.

Wut? I just looked up the Huntsville dealership and saw nothing close to that. Did I miss it? or was that a sarcastic post? 14-16k is the absolute max I've seen, I imagine they start going red after that?

It was a mailer I got from them. Tossed it because I'm not buying anything right now. Should have snapped a pic.

If you get another, please snap a pic. I'd like to call them and work a deal . If the local dealerships work with me, I'll likely have pulled the trigger before then but I'll be patient until they hit my numbers. And if they don't, I'll be waiting until 2019 stock needs to be moved out

Doubt I'll get another one. Usually once a quarter or every six months. Maybe go by L-M and ask them about it. Tell them a buddy of yours got a mailer.

Here in FL, back in October 2018 when I was shopping, dealers were offering up to $17k off through the USAA car buying service (True Car). At the time, I think it was a $7,500 rebate from Nissan, another $1,000 for trading in a competing truck, $2,500 from USAA/True Car and the rest was dealership markdown. The largest incentives were from factory Nissan. I realize not everyone will have this option since you have to be a member but you should be able to get close with similar factory incentives. The other issue you might run into is with the actual dealership. Are THEY willing to discount the vehicle as much as another dealership to make the deal happen. When I was shopping on True Car, the dealership offering this deal was not the closest to me and not the one I really wanted to purchase from but I used it as leverage to negotiate with the one near me. Ultimately, I didn’t get as good of a deal but they did give me a pretty good deal that I was happy with plus their service is top notch since they are affiliated with Bentley, Porsche, Land Rover, Volvo, Infiniti so they give you similar perks like free loaners and car washes when you drop off a car for service.

Re: 2019 pricing and leftover 2018 stock

Thanks duby and LSU, I'm working overtime this week to find my truck but I'm not going to force the issue. I'm looking for more than $14k off MSRP on a couple different models because that's what I need for my budget. Hopefully anyone else reading this will share their recent purchase price.

Do you recall MSRP? I think you said you drove out for around 37k? Was that with TTT/dealer fees?

I don’t have my paperwork here but I want to say MSRP was about $54k or $55k. So no, it did not include TTT, dealer fees, etc... That would be like an additional $4k in savings and those vary from dealer to dealer and by location.
