transfer case o-rings

So, I am going to do a fluid swap on the diffs, tranny, engine, and transfer case.
I need to know what o-rings are being referred to that should be replaced.
I have an 04 CC.

Re: transfer case o-rings

I don't recall o-rings. On the differentials and the transfer case the manual, as I recall, says to use black RTV. Many of us are simply using teflon tape to seal the threads. I did that and it worked fine. Be aware that the torque setting isn't very high on those plugs. Something like 25 lb/ft, but you should verify that.

The engine oil drain plug uses a crush washer. Cheap from the dealer. I threw away my drain plug and used a Fumoto Drain Valve. It makes for much easier oil changes.

Re: transfer case o-rings

Huh, strange, a different post seemed to suggest o-rings. Ok, well I'll just give things a visual and go from there. Teflon tape I have.
