Everyone else has one so I thought I should too. Plus I'm bored, its the week of finals, so for me that means lots of free time as I dont need to study usually.
Anyways, first pics, stock truck, leveled with a PRG 2" leveling kit , and on fuel 18" Boost wheels.
Exhaust...Flow master Y pipe into a 3" single in/out Banks monster muffler that i bought new off a member here. dumped with a tip off the muffler.
Prg Upper Control arms- eliminated ALL coilbucket contact. A 2" spacer is why too tall for stock arms on a new pro4x.
I added in a E10 sub and a kenwood amp. The sub/box was free. box was built by 07titan. My bro in law had 3 10's in his rsx and re did his system so he had one free. Our mechanic had the amp/all necessary wires and sold it to me for 100 bucks. This set up hits pretty dang hard for being super cheap. I wrapped the box in carpet from checker
Installed PRG Camber bolts before I got new tires
Once the stock pos tires wore out I got some 295 70 18 nitto terra grapplers. These really changed the look. Next time however I plan on going wider and maybe not as tall.
At this point summer was over, loaded my sisters Juke up and drove to chicago. We averaged 70 and got 10mpg the whole trip. Not half bad considering her car was FULL and my bed was pretty full.
The girl i was dating at the time got me a set of HID's. B1tchin. I need fogs though.
Than I ordered the Airaid 4" intake. I was one of the first to have this intake:teethmast
Spring break I took one day to build my traction bars. It took me forever to get going on these, but once I started it only took a few hours. Planning to install these the day/day after i get back to az
Lol yeah, al the little DIY stuff can really add up. I dont do many small things cause I feel as soon as I start Plastic dippping or bedlining i'll screw it up.
and i hate finals week. boring as hell. i didnt study for one final last semester and got a's and b's. school=easy sh1t. hahaha.
installed sway aways a couple weeks ago. the ride is so amazing. on the way to san diego i hit up the dunes and went through some small woops. the truck handled them awesome doing 40. no way my stock shocks/spacer couldve done that.
ok I failed on this thread. I have Sway Away Coilovers from 08pro4x2486, he totaled his truck last summer and i picked these up cheap. I installed my traction bars, installed BORA wheel adaptors up front.:redblob"
Picked up some PRG Delrin spacers from a member here, did some googling and saw guys had been notching them at 3/4", which is 1/4" smaller then the inside diameter. So i did that, and popped them in. Did 2 per LCA, right next to the rubber wear pads. It definitely feels tighter and it eliminated the clunk for now. I was able to pry the LCA forwards and backwards with a small pry bar before installed the spacers.
Also finally got rid of my 1" bora adaptors, moved my 1.25" ones to the rear wheels and threw on the new 1.5" ones up front. No more gouging the insides of my wheels from the 1" adaptors.
