Question Blind Spot Warning when towing a travel trailer?

Hi, I am researching the BSW system on the 2017+ Titans and XD's... what happens with BSW when you tow a travel trailer behind the Titan/XD?

Do you have to turn BSW off when towing to prevent a constant BSW "Warning"?

Couldn't find a clear answer in the online Owners Manual.

Thanks!

Re: Blind Spot Warning when towing a travel trailer?

Never had to turn mine off. It is looking to the side, not behind. However, it will not sense for the trailer blind spot; it only shows when it is safe for the truck to change lanes. You need to allow for additional passing distance before pulling into another lane with a trailer in tow.

Now it would be really nice if Nissan got smart and turned off the rear park assist when in tow mode, or when the TBC senses a trailer connected. Nothing more annoying than having the truck beep at me every time I put it in reverse when towing.
