I had an 02 ford 150 4x4 that I was paying around 350 every 6 months for full coverage. Now I pay 480 every 6 months on my 06 titan 4x4 with the same coverage as I had on the ford. I was thinking that much increase was ridiculous, but after reading some of your rates it doesn't seem as bad. I have farm bureau

Yeah, but you don't count!!! Your Mommy and Daddy pay for it!!!

...your right, guess I dont count but it still sucks having 850 thrown out the door for nothing every month, especially since weve been with safeco for 20 years and only had 2 or 3 fender benders (none were me)...

A 19 year old kid makes insurance at 104 a month look cheap. And he drives an old Ford ranger.

you should be happy its $105 a month. I am paying $170 a month
With how many tickets?

I pay $415 a year for my 07 Titan, full coverage! I live in central PA. Keep in mind age, location, marriage, driver history and credit history all play into insurance premiums. For 2 vehicle I pay just over $800 a year for full coverage on both, through Farmers Insurance.

When it come to insurance, it sucks to be young. It's even worse if you're single and have some points on your record.

We have full coverage on both of our vehicles. $247 for 6 months for the 04 Titan and $328 for 6 months for the 03 Mountaineer. And we are in California. Our coverage limits are a little low at 25k/50k, but the likelihood of me causing an accident are pretty low. 23 years and well over a million miles (most of them in a big rig) and haven't had an accident yet (knock on wood).

I have an 05 Titan, 06 Seqouia, 06 TSX, 07 Saturn Vue, 99 BMW. I pay $1899 every six months and thats for four drivers through Geico. I was paying twice that before with Southern Insurance big ripoff!!!

NC here...2005 Toyota Highlander and 2005 Titan CC LE 4x4....NC Farm Bureau Ins.....$1254 yr. full coverage on both....No violations (so far)

I live 2 hours north of you. I pay $377 every 6 months for full coverage on my '04. A whole $63 per month.

I'm feelin' pretty good after reading what others pay. Yikes!!!
Yeah I know. Wisconsin has pretty good rates. I have 1 fender bender and a ticket. Should come down in April, I hope.

I just got my insurance quote for the Titan in the mail, $105 a month.

...the wife's 1yr old CRV, $55, same coverage.

What...........TF? My insurance guy ---> :readclose  :futwice:

I just pulled up a quote from three other companies, the best I got for the exact same insurance was $100 lower, provided I paid a year in advance. Without that, it's only $50 less per year. So I guess this is "normal".

I've owned a few performance cars in my lifetime. I've had a Vette, Mustangs, a GTA, and maybe something else I'm forgetting. This is by far the most expensive insurance I have ever had, when comparing to a second vehicle.

I simply cannot believe the price is almost DOUBLE that of a Honda CRV.

I'm in Eastern PA as well - although about 30 minutes north of Philadelphia - and for my 06 Titan, I'm paying just under $700/year - full coverage ($300K/$300K, $100/500 deductible) with the rental car option. It's about the same price for my 06 Explorer, but much cheaper than on my 06 Civic Hybrid ($925). The odd part is the insurance is more than my Camaro convertible ($400 for 9 months).

What insurance company are you using? I found that plays a big difference. When I had my 900 Ninja, I had called a number of insurance companies and their quotes ranged from $100 to $500/year (minimum coverage).

State Farm (Mutual Auto)

Which one are you using? :hungry:

I pay $911.02 every six months for my 08 4x4 king cab titan as well as my 06 dodge charger r/t.

Insurance policies are illogical, when i called to ask how I can make it less they said to up my coverages. I did not undersatnd and they explained insurance is based on statistics as well as many other variables. Statisically drivers that choose the least amount of coverage have more accidents and are more costly to insure. Initially i had chosen the minimums, upping the coverages made it less...

I am single, Livin in Florida, just hit teh big 3-ohh and went with ameriprise. I feel fortunate with the rates as i don't have the best driving history and have neglected to call a cab and got caught more than once. Thank god i never injured anyone.
