My dealer called me to tell me my beast is in and it is locked saefely in the garage until Monday when they can PDI it and I can pick it up. Just my luck!!! They get on a holiday :-(
Had to bring the family down and take a look. The Sparkle red seems to be a slightly darker shade than the red brawn - could be wrong about that though. The interior leather seats are VERY comfortable but I was surprised that the seats and interior are almost mono colour. It is s light grey throughout with no bluish tinge to the inside seats. I could have swore that when others posted pictures of their leather the seats had a two tone look.? My wife loves the interior colour! She thinks it is better just like it is. By the way, checked out the stitching and it is first class. If the Ford is better, kudos to them but that in no way takes away from this leather and stiching. Both my dealer and I noticed that it is much better than the first one we saw in January.
The rear seat room is remarkable. Put the passengers seat all the way back and I could still strech my legs out completely with my feet under the front seat. There is going to be plenty of room to put both munchkins in the centre and passenger seat and flip up the single seat to allow room for my big dog!!!
I will have lots of other observations when I pick up on Monday. Talk about torture making me wait while it sits alone in the garage.
I also talked the dealer into putting on the paint sealant for an extra $50. Although for this rpice they won't give me the warranty, that doesn't bother me. I might still wax, but this allows extra protection. Is it okay to seal the paint this close after it was manufactured?
:smoke:
