Yea, ha I tried it earlier, and lets just say it didnt turn out that great ha.. I think it would look nastyy though!!

If you do it flat black, make sure they know what they are doing! It is very easy to make flat black look like your spray canned it on. It shows imperfections in the car and paint much better than a normal gloss paint. All of your body work needs to be great condition and they need to block the whole car to make sure its all level.

Flat black looks badass, but I also think something a little more flashy would look good. My friend just had his R1 painted that Lambo pearl orange and it looks amazing! Also I think that the Corvette C5 Electron Blue would look good!

Yea well like the guy that I am probably going to let do it, just painted his Chevy Truck flat black, and it looks really good, so I know mine would. I went and got an estimate, and for him to put a roll pan on, and mold it in, and put a tailgate skin on, and paint it flat black he said to be looking at around $2000. Does that seem high or a good price to yall? I Know that he does good quailty work, because ive seen like some of the flame jobs and stuff he has done!! The Only quote I got for the Orange Color, which was candy paint, and to put a roll pan on was $3100, but that was from a different place. So, i really think I am going flat black, so I have been starting to put money away for when I am ready to do it. I personally think it will look SWEEET.. not as flashy, but flashy is not always great. but yea I do like the blue color that you mentioned TrevoRR.

That sounds like a good price to me. These are big trucks and if he does door jams, tailgate jam, and under hood edges, etc.. then that's a LOT of work. BlackBeauty said he spent alot more than that to have his repainted the same color it already was just with much better quality.

The price sounds pretty good! If your really not wanting to spend that much money, If you painted it flat black, you could leave the door jams and engine bay the color the truck is now since its a darker color! It would not look as great, but it would save some money!
