ok first off are high flow cats stillen b pipes or can you add them for performance (dont need to pass emissions) should i run headers stillen b pipe and the my exhaust or do i want cats inside for power

sorry for ignorance im guessing no on cats?

The Stillen B-Pipes have high flow cats installed in them because when you add long tube headers you remove the primary cat that is welded to the stock manifolds. The 07 and up Titans, have 4 cats from the factory, 2 on the manifold and 2 in the B-Pipes. The older Titans, 04-06 2wd have 2 on the manifolds, 4wd have 4 like the 07-up.

so do i need to replace all 4? or just the 2 past the headers?

Some members that are not installing headers have gutted the second set of cats in the B-Pipes, or they replaced them with resonators or exhaust pipe. I would not mess with the front cats, you need to remove the manifolds, cut the stock cats off and weld on the new cats and reinstall the manifolds. For a shop to do that will cost you around $600 + parts, that is what some members have paid to have headers installed.

You only need 2. If your 4wd you have 4 cats for some odd reason. If your 2wd you have to cats closest to the manifolds, and the rear 2 are already empty. I have no idea why thier there, kinda a resenator. Im not running cats right now but will eventually. I dont think theres much to be gained with or without, but its super loud without

thanks man.. thats the flat out answer im lookin for now i need to decide if i want nismos or stillen probably gonna go with nismo

I just ordered the Nismo headers from the dealer and they are being put on my 4x4 this week. I also just read a few threads tonight and realized that they are going to cause a light on my 4x4. If the '07 is just like a 04-06 4x4 does that mean if I install the Nismo headers and stillen b pipes I will not cause a light?

Did that make sense? Seems just the headers will cause the light. But the B-pipe fixes that for the 07 so will it fix it for my 04 4x4?

Thanks in advance.

i only have two cats lol

Yes, the Stillen B-Pipes will stop the SES light from coming on. On the 4X4 models one set of 02 bungs are to close to the transfer case and the 02 sensor will rub. Stillen is trying to fix this miner problem now.

Crap I just ordered the Stillen B-pipes on friday so I can put my 2nd O2 sensors in the rear bungs to get rid of the check engine light. How do you know the O2 will rub. Do you have them. Is this verified to where I should call stillen and tell them to hold off?

There is a quiet little voice telling you to buy the Stillen L/T's.......trust that voice. You wont be disappointed. :read:

Dont forgot about JBA :D the make some great power. Dyno of my truck is in my sig at uprev.
Yeah i saw your post over at CT. I was impressed, not because i have the JBA shorties, but that they were that comparable to the L/T's.

You lucky SOB......getting a dyno tune at Uprev is the schit! :)

I do not have a 4X4, but Stillen knows about the problem. There was a pic. of the 02 sensor rubbing the T-Case.
