Just got a notice in the mail for, "March 17, 2005 to August 21st, 2006. (also, certain 2004 model year titans and armadas are included.)"

The a/c condenser fan motor may allow for excessive water intrusion and inadequate drainage of moisture.

Going to call the Stealership tomorrow and get the truck in. Hopefully it will be ok. Anyone else have problems with this?

There have been many

That voluntary recall has been out for months. It's only for the lower fan on the front of the radiator and nothing else. Here's a link that was provided by Learjet to the actual repair procedure, so you can identify if your fan needs corrective action. My fan happened to be the Gate model, so there was no reason for me to take it in.

i had that problem a year after i bought mine. they changed some hoses and some other stuff i think. it lasted for a year and i had the problem again, this time it was intermittent and they couldn't find anything wrong with it.

Holey Smoke....

Yep....Coming back from camping last summer the A/C iced up. Thought not much of it cause it was 98% humidity with 38C temps outside and 5 adults and their moisture inside. Shut off the A/C and let it thaw out. Seemed to be okay. Pulled in and was parking the 5th wheel. Started to smell something burnin'. Shut things down and saw large amounts of smoke coming out from under the hood.

You guessed it: Melted aux A/C fan!

Get your trucks in for the recall if they qualify folks.
