So over the past few weeks ive had the aftermarket bug bite pretty hard. Ive wanted to lift my truck for a while so i bought the mini lift, then when discount tires had that sale the other day i bought a set of 20x10 d-backs. So ive looked at alot of pics and setups here on the forum and done some research, and i think i have a pretty good set up for some light/mild off-roading and daily driving. I made a list, including prices and if you guys have any input or suggestions, i would really appreciate it. Keep in mind im not gonna be doing this all at once, and the list isnt in order. thanks!

Frozen Rotors L&R front Sloted rotors $166.32 Ea
Hawk Performance Brake Pads $70.95
3" Body Lift $333.90
Bullydog Powerpup Programmer $325
PRG Off-Road Traction Bars $489
PRG UCA's $599

The trac bars i can make myself as well as the grounding kit. The truetrac i added in the event of a diff failure, and the BD is still in the air to

Great list! I think the lift w/ SAW coilovers and PRG UCA should get purchased together. Get rid of that junk oem UCA and get the prg uca. The SAW coilovers give you so much more droop and if you don't get the prg uca at the same time, the oem uca is going to contact the coil bucket and sound horrible.

I like where your mind is at Nismo! Off road that beast!

haha thanks alot man! the UCA's will definitely get done before or at the same time as the lift. i noticed in your sig you have the prg shackles. how much of a difference does that really make?

The biggest reason I got PRG's shackles is for their strength over the stock shackles. When I got all my suspension upgraded by Greg I told him I wanted to start romping the hell out of my truck. Stock shackles are definitely a weak point in the rear. Greg set them up perfect for me because his shackles have a variable ride height. I wanted the rear of the truck to sit just a little lower than the front for the off road look. I definitely couldn't be happier with them fo sho!

The only modification I would do/not do is the body lift. I had one on my dodge and it was nothing but noisy. and the bolts had to be tightened ever 3 months or so. Could it have been a bad kit or poor install? yes, either way that my experience with them. You wont need the body lift unless you don't want to do a bracket lift, or you want to run big tires with out the cost of a bigger lift.

the only real reason for the body lift was to gain those few extra inches for less than an extra grand tacked on the suspension lift. Noisy? Did it just creak while you where driving or what?

I am jealous. I have the Procomp with SAWs already but I would love to have the PRG UCAs, Deaver Pack, traction bars, and truetrac but I am saving up for a trip to Europe. Make sure you factor in the labor costs if you are not doing it yourself. The BL alone will set you back $300 to $400. Sounds like a great set up to me though. I am excited to see it come together. :hat:

Thanks i do plan on doing it myself. The Pro Comp with SAWs sill probably be one of the last things i do, but i plan on getting started very soon.
Nice, it is going to ride like a champ!

for the looks you cant be the price, but like i said.. you put a house on stilts and send it through a hurricane and see how long it lasts.

if its a street queen go for it, if not stay with #1 :)

So my list has come a long ways, ive edited and edited, and ive bought a few things, and im actually alot farther than i thought i would be at this point. so far, i have my wheels and tires, radflo replacement coilovers, AEM Brute force intake 2* timing advance, rear 1.5" blocks, and i ordered the Procomp 6" kit, and it will be here next week! gotta take some time and recover some funds, but the rest will be here soon! my final product hopefully will be 9" of lift on 37s, i talked to Greg ant PRG and we have a pretty good idea of what im gonna need to get it done! heres the rest of my list, oh yea and im planning on taking off the sway bar when i put on the lift

Hawk Performance Brake Pads
Bullydog Powerpup Programmer
PRG UCA's
Bilstein Rear 5125 Series Rear Shocks
Sway-A-Way Bracket Lift Coilovers
PRG Deaver Titan C-30 3-Leaf Spring Pack
PRG Shackles
Home made traction bars

good choice of the CO's and C-30 instead of the BL
