:bangit: I have a new 2009 Titan. I drove it off the lot and it has been shaking ever since. I have about 2000 miles on it now. I have taken it to the dealer twice now. The first time they told me that the tires where out of balance. The second time, they told me they looked through it for about 4 hours and found that nothing was wrong with it and that it was completely normal to shake like that. Has anyone else had these problems? What should I do at this point?

There are few threads on the problem with bed shake on 2008-09 Titans.

I'm gonna bet you have the same problem I did. But I listened to the dealer and screwed myself. DONT listen to them. If they put you off long enough they don't have to fix it.

Its your tires. These trucks sit for long periods in Mississippi and they get a flat spot. Go to a Good Year authorized shop (I assume you have the good for a years on your truck) and have them checked. Nissan will NOT help you if they are out of round.

I took mine to a Good Year dealer at 7K and they wouldn't give me full credit for the replacement tires. I had to pay for part of 2 new ones.

Call Good Year customer service, open a case, let them recommend a local shop to have them tested. Explain to them that you think you have flat spots and let them balance them out. If they are bad, you should get nearly 100% credit for new ones.

I'm willing to bet thats what your wobble is.

Good luck.

Yeah, all tire defects are covered by the tire mfg. warranty, not the vehicle warranty. I don't understand why these dealers don't just tell people to take it to a (//tire brand here//) dealer and have the tires checked out for warranty issues.
