After wanting to install gauges for over a year, I decided to only add Trans temp right now.

Autometer SportComp 2 5/8" #3552

I drove it around for about 30 minutes and it was sitting at about 120* the after it warmed up. However I wont get to drive it for a while now because I joined the cracked radiator club during that drive. Never fails, do a mod, something breaks or complications of some sort. Anyone know the best place for a radiator? I already called both local dealers and guess what..."we've never had or even heard of a cracked radiator for the Titans." $850+ for an OEM replacement or 670+ for an aftermarket replacement. HAHAHA and they wonder why they are called stealerships.

Congrats on the new mod. I'm doing the same thing shortly along with the PML pan. Looks like your gauge is a little bigger than the others I've seen. If you can, make sure to sign up for the Daytona meet in Sep it's time you show off that T.

Welcome to the busted radiator club. O-fivecc and I just purchased the Koyo radiator from here. It looks to be built better than the POS OEM Visteon unit and it's way cheaper. Make sure to remove your fan when you do the install and get an extra pair of hands to help. Makes it so much easier!

Order this one since it's $17 bucks cheaper than the "Titan" unit. Same part #. Obviously it's an error... Shhhhh!! LOL

Shipping was a little slow. It took a little over a week to get to me and they didn't even process the order for 2 days. But the radiator arrived well packaged with 0 issues.

nice man, how long did it take to install and how hard was it? I had my radiator crack at 35k under waranty so iam stuck with the cheap plastic one again, or at least till this one cracks

Install wasnt too bad, maybe 1.5 hrs. I ended up using my radio's illumination wire for the light of the gauge and the black/red ignition wire for power. As far as the radiator, I would welcome a free OEM right now, as funds for a replacement are nonexistant.:bangit:

call 1-800-RADIATOR (72342867) and let them know what you need.

I work at a Toyota dealership so i ordered through work and i paid $157 with tax for mine. Its made by Vistera i believe. Has been in the truck for about 6k miles now with no problems.

Nice looking guage!!! That's where i plan on installing mine, when i get my PML pan.

Where does the sensor go for the guage? I plan on doing a trans, diff and something else once I get my mag hytec cover...pics would be awesome if its not too much trouble ;)

Thanks buddy!

Also, PML will port a pan for $40 so you can add a temp senser.

I put my sender in the line coming off of my tranny cooler. I know this sounds stupid, but IPT swears by putting it there. Something about it not only will tell you temps, but it also shows you have flow through the system. I wanted to use the test port on the side of the tranny, however there are mixed reviews on whether the sender fits. Autometer senders are 1/8" NPT and the tranny is 1/8" BSPT, and I did some research and found that NPT has a slightly different thread pitch than BSPT.
