I am on vacation and my battery is done. I had to get a jump today in the Busch Gardens parking lot and drove away. Now I am back at our campsite and the battery is dead. I need to buy a battery and quick but the owner's manual is crap when it comes to finding out what kind of battery to replace with. I have a 2006 CC w/Big Tow. I am not looking to spend a **** ton of money on a battery just one that I can replace and won't break the bank with. Thank you so much for your help!!!!!!!!!!!

Duralast gold. Just put one in mine for about $110 bucks.

Duralast Gold: Batteries

Make sure you note that on our trucks, the terminals are reversed.

Very easy. Just a couple of metric wrenches needed. Can't recall the sizes though.

great thank you all so much. No I just have to hope for a few things. 1. I can get a jump early in the morning. 2. The autozone has the battery in stock and 3. I cna replace the stupid thing.
You'll be fine. Don't worry about it, enjoy your trip, get a good night's sleep.

Interstate MTP 24-F megatron plus is another great alternative, NAPA etc. if AutoZone doesn't have it.

If you can somehow jump start your truck and drive it to autozone they will install the battery for free.

Where are you staying at? I also have a duralast gold. If your staying anywhere close I could give you hand in needed.

Thank you all for your help. I bought the battery this morning and I am putting it in soon. The only thing that worries me is the size of the new battery is a lot smaller than the old one. Does that matter? I bought the Duralast Gold 24F DLG

It is a smaller battery in dimensions, but don't sweat that. Clamp it down, slide the cover on, hook it up and off you go!

Have fun with the rest of the trip!

If you ever find yourself needing one in the middle of the night like I have, you can go to Walmart and pickup their junky battery to get you by until Autozone opens.

I did that with intentions of shelving the WalMart battery for next time but just left it in instead. It comes with a 3-yr free replacement warranty that they use the date code on the battery to determine. Mine died at around 2-yrs (common for most batteries here) so I took it in and got a free replacement. At this rate it'll be Free batteries for life available for pickup 24/7.

No problem. I just thought you may have been at the busch gardens near me.
