I have a terrible problem with the driver and passenger door rattles..It goes away when the window is put down about a 1/4"....My dealer has had it three times and all three time they told me they were unale to reproduce the rattle...Does anyone hav a quick and easy fix for this problem..I have tried all different types of foam under the armrest with no luck...Thanks

rattles

I had the same problem. the window tracks brackets, had screws loose.

I had a rattle that would only be shut up by pressing down at the back of the door and the bottom of the window. Stealership actually heard it and in all their skillful ability decided that they couldn't find it so they ordered an entire new door panel...fixed it.

Problem: Annoying rattle coming from passenger's side.

Cause: Seat belt partially retracted so that the clip part would rattle between the passenger's seat and the b-pillar.

Solution: Moved seat belt into full retracted position.

i have that rattle also, when i put the window down the rattle goes away even after i put the window back up it will be gone...the window track has got my attention now that someone mentioned it...i was planning on telling teh service dept when i bring it in for the seat cushion

let me ask you did the rattle go away when you opened your window even a slightest bit??? and even if you close it did it stay away???

I have the same/similar problem starting. It's not a really loud rattle but it's there. It goes away if I apply a little pressure with one finger right by the pw/pl controls. Gonna pull the door panel off and make sure the screws holding that assembly are tight.

My rattle did go away when I opened the window a slight bit. I tightened up the window mounts but I don't recall doing anything to the tracks brakets. My rattle has come back so I'll look into this. I had fixed it for a while with some dynamat to the window channel (pulled out the weatherstripping).
