I sold my 98 Ford F-150 XLT Supercab to get the Titan. I had owned it for 4 years and was very happy with it (sold it for $4k less than I paid for it, cost of ownership was less than $100 per month
), but my wife was pregnant with our first kid and I wanted to step up to a crew cab. The Ford never gave me any problems, though I felt that it was a little underpowered with the 4.6L, even with a K&N intake, Superchips, and Magnaflow exhaust. Then I drove the Titan and realized it was way underpowered! I've had the Titan for 9 months now, and I am convinced that there is no better 1/2 ton truck. I'm so happy with the power, I'm in no hurry to do any performance mods (not to mention the baby has forced me to reconsider how much money I can spend on mods for vehicles).
