What year is your truck? If it's an 04 your choices are limited.

I just installed a Bullydog GT. It's pretty nice but then again i haven't tried the other ones. I'm starting to wonder if i should have just bought the Bullydog Pup instead. The little unit is kinda nice but seem a little worthless to me. Bullydog was good with updates, and was really easy to install. But if you plan on putting headers on the truck you might as well go with UPREV tuning.

I have the cortex and love it. Like EOD stated, if you are going to end up getting headers then go with UPREV. I've heard of one, maybe two, that didn't throw any codes with a handheld after headers. Most everyone else got a CEL and ended up going with uprev.

The CEL is because of no cats or cat issues, not the tuner. IMO, I would go with either the Superchips (Cortex or Flashpaq) or the bullydog GT. The SC has extreme throttle sensitivity programmed into its tunes, which makes the truck very fun to drive. The Bullydog GT, you can select Fuel Saver, Stock, performance, or Extreme throttle sensitivity settings. I have mine set on extreme, and it is also very fun driving around town. The Bullydog powerpup does nothing for throttle sensitivity, so around town driving isn't anymore fun until you "floor it". The Bullydog PP gives as good of perofmance gains as any of the handhelds, but without being able to adjust the throttle sensitivity, its a little behind

Its an 06 and yea i'm not sure about the headers yet so kinda stuck in a predicament. Just reading all the stuff they have it seemed that the cortex has a little more things you can do but idk. Even if i did get headers it would prolly b a while.

go with the power pup. I have one for sale for 200 shipped lower 48. Thats a steal at that price
