How about Jan. 30th at memorial park? Afternoon?

(Where is memorial park?)

A selfish suggestion since I'll be coming into town anyway for the autoshow.

:)

It's near the Galleria.

I would be interested in attending as well the 30th works for me. Was thinking of hitting the autoshow as well.

I'll be there, assuming my truck is back from the shop- $4000 of damage to my Titan after someone backs into me, and six days later a deer runs full speed into the drivers side! Ouch! Just my luck- the guy wasn't insured, and neither was the deer.
What are we thinking for time... 2:00 sound good?

I will try to make it, my schedule is kinda funked lately..
What part of the park, it is kinda large..
D'oh I dont think there is alcohol allowed in the park, but i could be wrong.
Hey cjr02 I do work at a body shop, so the next time Bambi tries to get in your truck let me know!

I could probably do the 30th. And hey, because it would be Sunday we (I) could go to the dragstrip in Baytown afterwords.... :eyebrow:

I also need a map and to figure out where we would meet. I don't know that I've been to that park (been to Herman Park a few times).

I will see about posting a map. I am definitely game for the 30th. Memorial Park is pretty easy to find. From 610W (travelling in either direction). Exit Memorial and go East (inside of the loop). Go down about 2 or 3 miles and Memorial Park is on the Left hand side. You can't miss it because there are always joggers there running around the dirt track.

I would love to meet but I don't see how you guys squeeze it into your schedule. I am either getting stuff done around the house or out using my Titan to haul ATVs to rides. Oh yeah, I am a full time student and have 2 kids too. Hmmmmm....and a job.

have fun, drink a brewski for me.

To add to my previous post, I have attached a PDF file showing the location of the park. I would also like to add that once you reach West Memorial Loop North, go left (North) and we can meet somewhere right down this road. What we should do is designate a person to be there the earliest and find a spot. He can wave down the next few until a group develops and it becomes obvious where the crowd is. I will also try and find out if beer is allowed in the park. Keep reading.

Weather late January will be "iffy." Wonder if we should wait until it warms up a little-- give folks a little more advance notice to allow time to work their social calendar and travel plans. This might even result in more attending. I would vote for early March. My 2 cents worth. Richard

...and who's to say we can't do more than one of these?
My sentiments exactly. So how many takers do we have for Memorial Park for the first official meet on January 30th?

As long as it isn't raining, I'm a go! :bouncy: :smokingco

I'm there, schedule permitting

No food for me, but certainly anybody's welcome. This is going to be fun!

So do you guys want to call like a 2p-5p time? I hope the weather is like it was today- just gorgeous over here- 74 and sunny. I'll be coming in from the auto show so I doubt I'll be there straight up at 2, probably a bit after 3. If we call a range of hours it will allow all of us to have a leisurely drive. And I bet there are more than a few "early birds" who would be there at 2'ish to start the welcome party.

Hey llajumpvid, are you and I the only Armada guys?
