Today while at Academy Sports someone smashed into my titan. They did not stick around or anything just left my truck looking like this. How can people do this and not own up to it? I just dont understand.

wow, what do you do ya know? that really sucks nuckles!!! i'd be standing there thinking, let me get my hands on the s.o.b.... best way to think of it was that it was some 95 year old lady that just didn't realize what she had done. that way you won't get any more infuriated then you are already... damn people just makes you turn into the terminator... :gunz:
I'll bet that the guy that backed into you had more damage than you, but it was o.k because now both sides of his 1970 ford f-100 match perfectly! Oh yeah he surley had no insurance also! Sorry to see that happen man. If I see Him I'll make sure to flip him the bird

Man that sucks!! You may want to ask them if they have surveilance cameras that may have gotten it on tape. Probably not, but worth a shot. They were probably driving a vehicle that looks 10 times worse than your truck...parts hanging off and not a straight panel on it, and no insurance. The worst part of it is that someone probably saw it happen and just turned the other way and kept going. Those kind of people are just as bad as the one's who hit and ran your truck.

check the camera at the local shop. I'm sure they have some cameras monitoring their property.

I grow increasingly amazed at some peoples lack of integrity & honesty - some people just suck. Sorry about your truck - that really blows.
Sorry to here about your truck, was that over on Lakeshore drive or somewhere else in b'ham? And if so they are so many illegal's over on that side of town it's unreal, or somebody with no insurance (even though it's the law). But I have noticed they have security patroling the parking lots, but reset assured they were'nt around at that time. Well good luck with the repair, paint work has come along way but it will never be as good as the factory.Nuckle said:

Not all people are that way....I remember Sammy taking that NFL cheerleader back to the airport, and noticed some ape back into someone's car. The guy tried to leave, and Sammy ran him down, jerked him out of his ride, smacked him around, then held him for the police......Well, that's the way I remember it anyway..... :teethmastBigRedTitan said:
It was the Academy in Hoover, AL. Patton Creek to be exact. I already called the store and they said that they didnt have cameras in the parking lot. There is really nothing left to do other than call my insurance company (USAA). I hope they take care of me.

Not too long ago my soon to be wife's civic got smashed in wamalart parking lot. She works at the bank inside. They were suppose to review the camera's, but my mom works there and said they might have looked at 15 min. of tape...
Bastards, both whomever did it and the people at wamalart, what good are the camera's for if your not going to help the people out?
Well her car turned 1 year old on Valentines day, its now on its 3rd bumper, both replacements due to stupid people. But the first one was taken care of by the other guy's insurance, this one, the fender and headlight cost us $500 deductible...
I hate people...

I'm going to buy a 1970 Pontiac Catalina just for this purpose.
So when people hit me, I'll find out who they are, drive to their house, ram their car, then kick their dog, steal their lunch money, and piss in their front yard.... :flamed:
Funny story-A few months back, my son and I watched this woman in her mini-van have a driving disagreement with a shopping cart return "station" in a parking lot. She was cutting the wheels the wrong way each time and just was either too aggrevated or dumb to try her wheels the other way. Needless to say, she creased about 2/3's of her mini-van, and it wasn't a small one either. :jester:
