I've done a lot of research on AC, those kits are only a temporary fix. You should never run out of freon, but you will if there's a leak. If there's a leak, there's contaminants in the system which will eventually ruin your compressor. Over charging your AC can also ruin it... It's a finicky system. So basically if you need more freon, you need to have a leak fixed...

I shot those with my iPhone lol. I got a better video from my trip to cops bay, I tried to email to you, I'll try again later, my laptop is bein sketchy

luckily when i wrecked my T i F'd up the AC system. So it got rpeplaced and recharged.

Sometimes the AC just needs to be recharged i thought. Its expensive to take it to a shop and have them do the work, but with how touchy the system is, its probably worth it to have them do it.

My AC was great last summer,
Now it sucks.... I read about AC systems and people say that no system is 100% sealed.
Some other people said you should never need to refill the system.
A cording to my local firestone shop I have to refill it every few years it's part of the service I guess.
They also check for leaky hoses.
I see those refill kits in all the auto shops around this time so my guess is someone is buying them and refilling their systems Storm might be right, that's probably a short term fix.
I bought a can a TALL can for $44.99 dlls with the gauge and everything, I will give that a try this Monday (I'm off hell yeah!!)
Hopefully that works, I got no money to fix my truck( I need money for. Cajun b pipes and a lift and uprev and headers!) I hope my AC stars working again, summer is here and don't want to drive my truck with a swety a$$.
Too bad you guys liv so far south, I could have give you firewood!!!!
I love those pics of Florence!!!!!

Let me know how that goes bud, that might be in the cards for me too. It seemed to blow a *little* cold today, but not very

they need to be recharged, not necissarily refilled. atleast thats my understaning. I think that crap in the can is like fix a flat. use it for temporary, but it will ruin the system and have to be completly redone later, rather than just re charged. Like a tire with fix a flat has to be replaced rather than just patched.

Again i could be wrong, but thats what my understaning of it is.
