noticed about a month ago that when going around sharp corners seemed like my seat would lean to the out side corner. and the inside of the seat seemed like it also is moving . can sway side to side while sitting in seat.. dealer replaced a bracket thats in the lower part of the back of the seat but can still sit in seat and sway . outside rails seem stiffer but. seems like the outside foam or inners isnt attached to anything. anybody else have this issue.. not a little guy (270lbs) sat in 3 other trucks from dealer while the worked on mine.. told me this is normal , like wear and tear.. any help would be appreciated :bangit:

My driver's seat is broken also. I got it that way when I bought the truck. It looks like the old driver was a right leaner where he would lean on the center console and push back, so the seatback slopes from the outside to the middle back and the seatback is not straight across. I'll take some pictures of it and plan on taking the seat out and seeing what is wrong with it this weekend. I have a welder so hopefully I can fix it up and not have to pay someone to do it for me.

On a side note, are the frames for all the seats the same, i,e, even though I have a power seat with heat, are the underlying frames all the same?

Yes there is a bracket in the bottom part of the upper seat. Mine was broken and replaced by dealer . prob is still in center of seat. Need to take back to dealer. Does anyone have an aftermarket replacement for these cheap seats

This is what mine does..Seat - YouTube My dealer supposedly replaced my seat back when I bought the truck because it was ripped and showing the foam from the previous "big-boy" owner. I'm thinking all they did was replace the cover not the whole seat back like they told me they did. I'm slightly pissed but the dealer is 2 hours away so it's not like I can just pop in there and yell. Anyway, is that what your's does Snow?

I had mine welded 3 weeks ago and then, on the way back to work, promptly rear-ended someone at a stop light (foot slipped off the brake pedal). No damage to my truck, thanks to the brush guard, but did total out the other old vehicle. Seat worked great, held up through the accident, and continues to work to this day. It was broken in two places and both were welded and reinforced. Happy as a lark.

I had a similar problem with my old seats one side would move back an forth while the other side stayed in place. After messing with it a bit it turned out that one side would not always "catch" when reclining. I had to pull on the recline lever an lean back an forth a couple times till it would lock.

welded where
My seat was broken on both sides down near the hinge area. The shop I took it to pulled the seat out, took off the cover, welded and reinforced the seat, and then put it all back together. You can't tell that it was broken and it set me back around $80.

So, similar problems here. (I have a 2008 CC Pro-4X, cloth seats)
Driver seat, upper right (by my right shoulder), the foam or whatever has recessed so that the metal frame is protruding enough that i feel it. Also, the bracket that holds that holds the seat controls on the bottom side of the seat has come loose from getting in and out.
And, on the passenger front seat (when no one is sitting in it), really vibrates sometimes at high speeds (highway travel).
So, my opinion, seats suck!!

I am looking to replace my current seats with leather, so hopefully whenever I do that, I can solve the vibrations issue.

Same problem here, piece of crap seats. metal frame is tearing through on the inside by the console (bench seat). Also had the other issue where one side would not "catch." Took the seat out, took the upholstery off up to the hogrings, and sprayed a **** load of WD40 on everything.. Has been working decently since, but still feels like it has a lean. This is probably because the foam is totally ripped on the right side of the frame by my shoulder, at least I hope it is the foam, and not the frame busted/bent..

I'm surprised I haven't heard my issue.

I've had three Titan's and they have all had the same problem. My driver upper seats frame pokes out at my left shoulder blade. It seems that the padding is no match to the frame behind it. When I lean to the left the frame pokes right out at my left shoulder blade.

My truck has 12K miles and has leather bucket seats. I know I should take it apart and replace the padding with a more consistent padding than the OE.
