Hell, it's only $20 a year if they do. The savings alone will pay for that a few times over.

Right it will pay for itself. Idid not know it was that cheap after the six months. Where are you in the world? If you are anywhere near NY, Long Island to be exact, I have a dealer that lives around the corner from me literally. I did not read about that deal any further because I knew I was buying from my dealer. Amsoil Dealer not drug dealer LOL!

I paid for a 5 year preferred dealer/buyer/(whatever) for AMSoil. My neighbor buys oil when I do, and I only charge him a 50% markup. :)

Looks like you are the local dealer. You should look into buying a Amsoil route. If you have the time. The guy I use does it as a second job. He said he invests like 8 hours a month and clears $1800 to $2500 monthly. And the routes are relatively cheap. Though they will not sell you a route if there are too many in your area.

I'm over in northern Nevada. Lovelock. It's about 90 miles outside of Reno.

That doesn't sound too bad. Lots of mines around here.

I do not know too much about how to become a dealer. I only know what my buddy told me which was vague. He kind of stepped into it. He loaned a guy money that was a dealer. When he could not pay him back, he gave him the route. He knew nothing about automotive fluids. Anyway, that is the story he told me. I do not really know him that well enough to call him a liar. So I took him at his word. He seems to be a stand up guy though. And even less about Amsoil. However, he seems to like it. I would look at their site. I am sure there is information about it.

Bump to the top. Please make this a sticky.

is matic K ok for our Transmission?
I was just going to do the drain and fill, the place I ordered from sent me the wrong stuff. I dont want to go through the hassle of shipping it all back if I dont have to.

No, Matik K is not to be used in the Titan transmission. Use Matic J or Matic S. Matic J has been superseded by Matic S, but it's OK to use J if you have it.

According to the diagram it is on the front of the differential, on the cover.

Never hurts to bump a great thread like this!! For the new guys and the guys like me that forget:)
