Depends on who you talk to. VA is considered a southern state from geographical stand point however some say its to far north, where others like my self was born n raised to have that southern hospitality kinda attitude and I love the south, I love the people round here and the slow pace.

Haha. Thanks! Just came over from the Pacific northwest but I was born in NC, raised in VA. Fine then, south east it is!

Virginia actually falls in the Northeast section of the regional forums. MVP Titans (Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania).

Yea I remember seeing that now, but like I said VAs a flip state everyone above says were southerners and everyone below us says were northerners.

^^^^^ alcoholic yankees,,,,, im actually heading to the virginia state line for the weekend. i have some family that lives less than a mile away from the line but it is in the western part of the state (Mount Airy NC, Wytheville VA) area. In all honesty i would say VA is a southern state. Hell i have been in maryland goose hunting a few times and there are some southern people up there in spots as well ( They dont have sweet tea thou) :bang:

I had intimate relations with a girl from Wilson. My grandparents go to the mayflower that's in Virginia near Roxboro.

Lol. Yea.... I wanted to cook great food until I worked at a place that is equal to applebees and chili's, then I realized that unless I can get in to a really high end restaurant where the people who come to eat there are concerned more with the flavor and looks of food over how full you are when you leave, then I ain't working in the food industry.
