Post Pics of your Satellite Locations....

I'm curious. I'm getting sirius and I know where I'm putting mine. I want to start a thread where people can look at all the different units out there and all the different location we put them.

I'm putting (starmate) mine right against the A-pillar. I do not want to put it in the center above the RF stock unit becasue I don't want to loose that storage location.

I have the XM Roady2.

I attached a brakect that came with it and clipped it on the vent by the center console, on the driver's side, of course. I'll try to take and post a pic, maybe tomorrow. I really like the location, because it's easy to reach, but not in the way of anything.

How did you get your Sportster to be mounted? Did you use an aftermarket bracket?

Here's my Road XT - please don't laugh at my custom mounting backet. I lack a proper metal cutting tool, so I cut it using the 'bend it back and forth with vice-grips until in breaks' technique. Until I find something better, it works.

Used the mount it came with. Stuck the suction cup right to the plastic in the dash bin.

here is mine i attached a plug on the back that go's into the cigaret lighter.it is not powered by that plug.i ran wires to power it.it on the right side of the shifter

where is your power cable and antenna?

I have a Roady2. Mine is to crude of an install to show a pic at this time. :teethmast

I'll post a pic when I clean it up... which should be this weekend.

The power cable is plugged into the cigarette lighter while the antenna is mounted on the roof just above the 3rd brake light (thanks to someone's suggestion from this forum, can't remember who though). The photo I posted did not quite catch the cigarette lighter plug :teeth:

where did you buy it from i have the sportster replay. my player and yours are identical in size and i would like to see some options for mounting. i don't think the suction cup thingy is going to work for me.
