I know it's not my driving. I baby the truck. I've never had brake issues on any other of the 6 cars I've owned and I dogged alot of them. It's definately the truck's problem which means my headache. I'll be back in touch with the dealer very soon. I'm sick of this crap...actually was sick of it 3 brake jobs ago. :muncher: :deathsent :futwice:

I understand your frustration, but if you would actually get the same fix that I got, the brake problems would be a thing of the past. Good luck!

If all the 6 brake jobs are from the same shop, you may want to change shops.

They were all done at the same shop but it's the only one in our city. Damn small towns. I've contacted a lemon law atty to take it from here. Tired of this crap big time. :flame:

Hate to do this but it's F150 time I'm affraid.

Good luck to you on finding an f150 that dose not have any problems, most of there new trucks have way more problems then the Titans!

And if you do get (very lucky) to find a good one, Good luck getting the spark pulgs out of the 5.4 engine!

I think you sould go over to a few ford sites and check out what other people are saying about the problems that they are having with there trucks.

This is a good site to check this info out. Ford Truck Enthusiasts.

Just my thoughts on this.

I had the updated final brake fix done at 7k miles.

I now have about 18k miles on the truck after this repair and the brakes are working just great, very little if any brake dust on all of my rims with this lastest TSB fix.

It seems to me that you never did get all of the right or new updated parts for this installed on your truck.
And if you have not you will before they will do a buy back for you.

I don't think you understand me. I've brought it in every 5000 miles until got what they told me was the permanent fix. Now I bring it every 3000 miles and have had it "permanent fix" 2 times and the 3rd is comming. 6 times total and the next makes 7. They are warped again. My service sheet says brake recall 2 times on it (12 pages long). I'm sick of knowing my service dept by name. My coworker and brother both have F150's and combined have not been in as many times as me.

ringo, I don't think you understand what people are saying to you. Verify the parts installed by the numbers posted on this site to ensure you are indeed getting the revised rotors. There is also more to the brake fix than just the rotors. The should be installing upgraded pads, a clip of somesort and a bolt. There were like 4 items listed on my workorder when I had mine done as well as turning the rear rotors. There are an overwhelming majority of owners here put more miles on the fix setup than the original judder prone items who agree that the problem was fixed and if anything the brakes are better than before it. It may be worth your drive to seek out another dealership. It's a heck of a lot cheaper thanbuying a new truck or paying a lemon law attorney.

There you go. You have a bad tech. I bet the same tech replaced it 6 times. Just for grins, do you still show excessive brake dust?

A trip to another city for repairs will be worth your while.

I do still have brake dust, not sure if it's as bad as b/4 but if they did lie to me and say they gave me the complete fix 2 times and I find out they lied, I really don't want to have anything to do with them. Lied or piece of ****, either way, I'm done.

The nearest other dealer is 40 miles away. I'm not doing that either each time I have a problem.:hellno: Further, Lemon Law/Truman Act stipulates that the dealer pays the atty so it doesn't cost me anything. If the lawyer takes the case it's 99% won.

I don't do business with people that lie to me. When they buy it back they have to give you what you paid including tt&l minus a small amount of perhaps 2k or so. I'll gladly give that up to get rid of it I've had it 2 years for God sakes. If you had this problem this many times you would change your tune. The truck is a tool for me and I won't get tooled by the dealer at the same time.

Sorry to piss on your parade but you do not have the "final" fix. If you did you would have 99% less brake dust and your brakes would not be warping again. I had mine resurfaced 4 times before I had the fix done. 7,000 miles later and they are still great. They feel much different than the crappy rotors too. Much improved stopping.

Exacty....

Nissan is not your problem......the dealer is. THEY ARE LYING TO U!

40 miles is not worth it? Your nutty! I drove 100 miles round trip to make sure my brakes were done correctly (took it to place I bought it). Sure the closest dealership to me is 50 miles round trip. But I actually have the right fix and was well worth my time.

BTY, with the new fix, brake dust is non-existent......good way to tell if you have the right parts.

Good Luck!

Good luck with your attorney. I can't believe you won't drive 40 miles to fix what seems to be your only issue with the truck. 40 miles seems like an easy fix compared to dragging this thing out with the dealership, Nissan, an attorney and a hearing. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

+1
I had the judder @ 3500 miles... Turned rotors at 5500... The "fix" @ 6700.
Currenty, I have 8500 miles. NO problems
I think i might just be the Titan with the fewest miles from time of purchase!

I have a 2006 Titan with 1800 miles on it. I notice a little grabbing coming from the right side periodically. Is this something that I should be concerned with? They also feel kind of mushy when pushing the brake pedal down but the truck will stop on a dime. Any info would be appreciated.
