My birthday is in April and I want to get a new exhaust kit. The budget is around $400, any recommendations?

A muffler swap is a good idea. Cheap and gives you the sound you want. If you can manage it the ideal set up IMO is the Cajun Catback with borla muffler and black Gibson tip which would be what 500-650. That'd be nice. But I love my tame borla but that's like 2x your price range...
I got my jba catback a couple weeks ago for $350 delivered and it sounds great

Really it depends on you want out of your Titan and the sound your looking for. What I did was went to youtube and listened to every exhaust I could find. I bought the Banks Cat back. Imo sounds awesome to me and a lot of others. If I could do it over I would Have saved a lot of money and just changed out the muffler to a Borla. Did some more research and added pieces as I learned more about my Titan.

Being in North Carolina, you may want to consider a Stainless Steel system. Unfortunately, getting a nice stainless system in the $400 range is going to be tough.
Check with Stillen and Cajun B-pipes to see what either of them can put together for you.
