I had Stillen long tube headers install on my T a few years ago. A couple weeks ago I had a SES light come on. After getting around to getting my OBDII reader out I found I have a code for a bad o2 sensor. I climbed underneath to check it out and spray some PB blaster on the sensors so I could remove them easier. The IDIOT that installed my headers didn't cut the wires before the plug and just extend it, he cut both plugs off and spliced everything together. I'm making a call tomorrow to bark about that.
Anyways my question......can I go to a Nissan dealership and buy the wire from the ECU to the o2 sensor? If so....what is it called? I'm thinking his schotty work should be replaced and was wondering if I got a wire harness for this I could extend it on my bench and solder it correctly with heat shrink etc.
I called the dealer and the parts manager had no clue what I was asking about. Hopefully he will have an o2 sensor in stock so I can show him the plug from the end of it to the ECU.
