I went from one end of the spectrum with my last Titan being a crew cab, loaded 4x4 off-road package. To this new one being a 4x2 king cab, with manual windows and locks, cloth interior, with 2.94 gears.

It had a K&N intake on it but for now I would rather just run a stock intake so I put my old one on that was in mt attic(hoarding prevails). Cleaned the MAF and throttle body. Swapped it over from conventional to full synthetic, cleaned the vacuum lines and put some sea foam in the tank. Also I pulled a layer of Tint off the front windows, last owner was going for a murdered out look.

The bad, and input would be appreciated:
It has strong smelling exhaust, really rich maybe... not like coolant.

It sounds like it has a cracked manifold on the passenger side and the b-pipes were cut out and welded to the manifold.

It seems to have a tiny coolant leak that sprays on top of the engine cover, its coming from near the radiator cap.

The Flowmaster muffler has a leak.

First impressions:
The driveshaft is not the same as my 4x4, i think the 4x4 was aluminum.

So much less responsive and torquey then the 3.36 with full exhaust, UpRev and Volant CAI.

Ill post some pictures tomorrow.

Update. Found out that my truck doesn't have any cats, what I thought were cats are resonators mounted behind the 2nd O2 sensor. I saw white smoke when I went WOT which I think means its running lean, probably because of the missing cat. My Solution will be to weld in HF cats between the O2 sensors. I'm also gonna replace the stock Y while I'm at it. I'm not looking to be fast, I really just want it to run well. If any of this is wrong please let me know.

Give Cajun B Pipes another look for your Y Pipe. Have Seymore4 hook you up with Uprev and a tune.

The cats are gone, so you should probably get a tune to correct the AFR's. Plus the truck will run like a bat out of heck with Uprev. You already know that though. ;)

That's a good point. I'll need to get an intake, cat back, and newer IM first. Well need may not be the right word.

I spoke with the don of exhaust Mr. Cajun today about running a titan without cats and without a UpRev tune? I just found out that mine has been running like this for who knows how long since I just bought it. Anyone have any horror stories about this? I'm having my old oil checked right now for engine debris.

Good news is the my oil checked out. ill need to put some more miles on it to see if the oil is burning, not gonna risk that though. gonna wait until I can get Headers, Bpipe, and uprev before it moves again. Yay $1300 fix/upgrade
