PRG street trac bars!! *UPDATED*

They arrived in the mail today and I'm so giddy!!! I would get pics now, but they probably don't look anything like the finished installatioin under the truck, lol. They're gettin' installed first thing tomorrow, so I'll have pics for you tomorrow ASAP :gunz:

Why did you choose the street bars for your lifted truck?
1) Price
2) After talking to Greg, I understood they function just as well as the OR version. And if I happen to smash up the street bars, I'm sure something much more expensive or important on the truck is gonna end up damaged as well. That, and the OR bars are gonna take damage as well if they get hit that hard.

Heh, it's the best "mountain" I found :gunz:

I have the street bars on mine with the lift and the true-trac and the are awsome they work killer,,,,,,with the lsd and bars the truck hooks hard on full throttle launch's i get a tire chirp and she sqwats and go's...

I didn't put on the backward helper springs but there is a huge difference as in the "helper springs" just firm up the leafs (also changing the ride). The traction bars actually keep the axle from moving aka wrapping and don't affect the leaf rates.

They're finally on!!

Well, everything went well. The technician took a couple hours at the muffler shop to get it done. He just wanted to take his time and make sure he did it right since it was first time thing for him. But, it came out beautifully :).

I absolutely couldn't be any happier with this product from PRG and his service. And, just as important to me---MY AXLE WRAP IS CURED!!!! All thanks to Greg, hehe. If you're even slightly THINKING about getting these for your Titan, don't hesitate. It's amazing how tight and planted the rear is now. It's almost as if I'm driving a different truck (in a good way :))!!

Here are some install/post install pics for your enjoyment.........

Those are some nice looking trac bars over there... Congratulations, do they make the truck more stable while offroading?

Are those PRGs billets blocks and what size are they?

Hey, thanks! I actually won't have a chance to test them out off road until saturday. Me and a fellow Titan owner are gonna go romp around and find some mud this weekend. :gunz: I'll let you know....

No, everything is from the PC lift kit.

Those look great! I bet they are even more functional!! school me as to the full purpose for them and I might consider them to. I see the clouds behind your tuck in the pic. Must be those same clouds from this very scary cat 5 185 mph hurricane we are experiencing!! ( a little sarcasim) At least that is what the news makes it out to be.

Yeah, they're really a great thing to add to your truck. I'm not really the best person to explain how they work. Greg explained it best on his site where he says "were developed by us for the Nissan Titan. They eliminate axle wrap. They allow full suspension movement and articulation." In essence, they keep the rear planted on the ground for better stabilization.
