:soap: Just wondring if anyone else has had the problem, of the a/c staying on when it's not in any mode requiring a/c compressor? (ie a/c defrost & the indicator light is off)Plus the heater doors just bounce around "clunk clunk" but no mode change?

Is it stuck on "auto"?

i was on my way home and recorded myself a voice note on my phone to post this very question tomorrow.

yes, i have the same issue... and it's not stuck on auto. i find that my ac stays on after i use the defrost. it doesn't matter what mode i put it in, how many times i turn it on and off or if i go back to defrost then off. nothing seems to get it to turn off.

anyone else?

wrecks

at any rate, advanced search for "ac stays on" - title only and should find the thread.

Push the center of the button. It's a switch.

Push the button in the center of the control knob until the little orange light goes out. As long as that orange light is on your compressor will cycle.

This has been discussed over and over: If you have the AC on for more than a mniute or so, it will stay on, no matter what you do.

Pressing the button so the orange light is off will not switch off AC, neither will turning the dial to a non-AC setting.

Only stopping engine, restarting will reset the AC. It's as Nissan designed it (don't ask me why).
