For Sale: Lazerlite tonneau cover. Brand new. However, slightly damaged during shipping. There is a dent in the edge on the driver's side (see attached photos), and a couple small chips in the paint. All mounting hardware is included. Fits Crew Cab only. Asking $400.00, O.B.O.

I am located in Orange County (CA). Buyer must take delivery from my residence (too big to ship). PM me if you are interested or need further details.

Unfortunately, shipping would cost around 225.00, as I don't have a carrier under contract. Not to mention, I don't have the original crate, and foam.

Sorry.

Just been wondering?
If it was damaged during shipping, why didn't you return it to Lazer lite for a replacement?

For What It's Worth

It's aluminum, a dent like this can be taken right out. Take the cover off, lay it on the ground top side down obvioulsy on something soft that will protect it. Take some wood blocks to support the edges left and right of the dent, use another wood block and something like a thick cloth between the wood block and the aluminum and start hammering away. You want to use light force with the hammer and take your time, I bet with a bit of patience you can flatten that thing out perfect.

I take mine on and off by myself, a task that ain't easy without 12' arms. I have removed more than one bend in my time because the damn thing got away from me during on on or off.

I love my LaserLite!!!

Easy! If someone has it delivered to their house and nobody is home to inspect it and the package is left, then it becomes a huge hassle to get it returned as the trucker has to come back or a new shipper has to be set up.

I has mine delivered to a friend's shop where they held the driver until they opened it up and inspected the cargo. Keep in mind the 1st one delivered to me was also damaged, and thank goodness I had someone inspect it and reject it.

And please note, LazerLite has improved their packaging a great deal since my 1st delivery. They became aware they had a shipping problem and took all sorts of steps to make changes. My 2nd cover was delivered in perfect condition.

Just asking. I personally would take the trouble to< what was it? wait for a driver or a new shipper for something I paid 6-9 hundred dollars for.

Trust me, I know, I agree, and that's what I did. Had I not, I would have gotten the 1st cover that was delivered, and that one had more than a dent, it had a long gash in it that went right through the powdercoating.

Seriously, someone ought to buy this cover, it's a great price for an amazing product. And I really believe with some time and careful work that dent could be removed.
