wrapping is the hardest but nice if you ever wanted to revert back - I’m not a fan of plastidip but that’s an option for that route
I painted mine and did the grille mod cutting out the stock bulky plastic mesh and put in smaller mesh which just sits in between the two pieces of the upper grille. You can paint it as one piece but prob get better results taking it apart. Once you take the grille out there’s a bunch of clips on the reverse side that separates the grille bracket to the outer shell. I have the fake chrome and it started to peel on top so I bondo’d it and sandpapered the whole thing to prep for primer then spray paint.

I was thinking about red on the emblem too. Glad you said that. I'm pretty sure they also have plastidip in red as well
