My stock 2008 headlights are all fogged up.

Ready to swap them out for new aftermarket units.

No, I don’t want to use one of those headlight restoration kits (been there, done that).

Any longer term reports from anyone that’s swapped out?

How long has it been, brand and style?

Thanks!

I installed aftermarket headlights in June of 2020. My truck is a daily driver and I park it outside. The lights still look and function as well as they did 2 years ago.

I installed aftermarket housings back in 2015 and I have a clear wrap put on them that has helped a lot

Nice lights. Where did you get them? Do you recall the brand? Thanks.

Hell of a thread you have going there Warhammer!!
I’m only a couple pages in and my to do/to buy list is already blowing up, lol.
Thanks! Modding vehicles is a bit of an addiction for me, as you can see!

I went the Ebay route. Got the LED strip and black housing set for around $230.

Closing in on 1 year in about a month. The Led strips have held up really well as well as the housing. Only issue is that the clear coat started to crack (I live in California so a lot of sun). Though it's nothing a 3M headlight restoration cant fix.

That looks like a quality one! Will definitely consider it when we decided to upgrade the headlights. Got to finish installing the new rack and bed cover from 4Wheelonline this week and the tires will be next.
