I don't know what you call them or even what to call this part of the lower door panel....... but are these factory?
Some kind of scuff guards?

I heard something rubbing when I opened or closed a rear door and noticed this rubbing on the sill plate.

Factory on all PRO4X. Hey are scuff guards. If you are familiar with all import black plastic in vehicles, you know it scuffs like something fierce. Shouldn't rub on panel tho...
Actually they are NOT factory standard on all Pro-4x's (maybe on the Plat. Reserve) . Its an option on the 22-23 MY. They come in the OFF ROAD PROTECTION PKG I listed above. You can buy them seperately outside of the package, they they are definitely not standard!

You can buy them seperately if not in a package.

So you scuff these instead, same end result. If you’re aware of your surroundings you won’t kick your doors at all. Im not a fan of carbon fiber.

Just an easy money maker for Nissan. If they're a package option on the truck you like, you really don't have any choice to shell out the $525 for it..

Its just like the $990 Tech Package on almost every 22-23 Frontier that rolls down the assembly line. Could do without it, but its not like you can take it out.

This^^

LOL... Spend $0 and you might scuff your door panel. Spend $$$ on whatever those things cost and then they get scuffed. It's OK to scuff the guard but not the door panel.

And no they aren't standard on the Pro4x. Mine doesn't have them either.

I added them after because they look better than the factory plastic. Two years later they look new. The material is more resilient to damage.
