people will complain about prices all day every day.. people add cold air intake and exhausts and spend 1,000 bucks to maybe gain 12-15hp LOL

this is just a tad more and will actually do something besides make u run rich as hell and actually lose time like installing headers will, yes 99% the people get slower with headers till they get retuned.. i was one of those people

I'll be getting them soon prob in nother 3 weeks cause gotta pay bills first, if people want results sooner start paypalling me money :)

The same people that will pay $1000 for intake and exhaust, or $1000 for headers are the ones that will spend $1200 for cams. I will do niether of these, and I think there are others who know better as well.

Somebody already said it wont work on 07 for the last post who asked that again.

So do you think that the aforementioned mods are ineffective, or just a waste of money?

I've got $2k in mods and have improved my 0-60 and quarter mile time by almost a full second. I guess I dont know what one expects out of modding if taking a low 15 second truck and making it as quick as a stock 350Z is not good enough.

For those of us that "dont know better", these cams look very promising and should yield some great track times.

what he say?
I don't think anybody knows. He had a couple of LONG posts that were either in another language or just gibberish...

Interesting. Might be a great mod for the titan, as theres no question it falls on its face stock around 4000 rpm, which is kind of low to be running out of gas, however, for $1200.00 they can keep them.
If your Titan falls on its face around 4000 RPM somethings wrong with it.

It's after 5000 RPM where it starts to fall off.

Maybe yours isn't broke in yet.

These cams peak around 4900RPM, but the TQ stays up longer so the HP doesn't fall like a rock as the stock cams do.

IMO that is the single biggest problem holding back the titan in the 1/4 mile.

If a Hemi or a Chevy had to wind up to 7000 RPM that would be about the same as winding the Titan to 6000RPM

"$1200 for drop in cams"...........whats a drop in cam? is there another kind?

Im used to paying $150-$200 range for a camshaft, so 4 of them would be around $800, so $1200 is high to me, but with the limited number of buyers, I guess they have to make them expensive.

Did it have the amount of increase listed? it was hard to read the graph on jim wolfs sight.

I can see them working with VVT, wouldnt it defeat the purpose of having VVT.
Drop in means no pulling the heads to put in HD valve springs and/or putting in new pistons with extra valve relief.

It's funny how people will pay 30 grand for a truck and stop right there.

It's also funny how people who don't do performance mods are the same people who drop 2-3 grand for wheels/tires or another 2 grand for a lift.

When the power bug bites you can never get enough. Like Tommy says "35HP is a lot" especially on the top end.

A 10% increase in power is huge. Why do you think the "Tuned" Hemis and Chevys run so much stronger/faster then stock?

Just leave the power mods to us competive types. The ones who don't like to lose.

if you think a extra 35hp in the top of the powerband is no gain you are sadly mistaken :p 35 hp is a huge gain.. :gunz:
no, thats not what i think at all. what i was getting at was I thought the titan was underated and actually put out closer to 335-340 stock, which would appear to be the same output after the cams, meaning there really is no
gain
